이번주 강대상에 올려드린 꽃 사진과 수고하신 은실 자매님의 기도글입니다. 오늘은 귀한가정의 아들 David김을 축복하는 헌아식이 있었읍니다.손목사님께서는 헌아식때 꼭 하시는 말씀( 전도를 안하면 아이를 낳는 방법도 있읍니다)새누리식구들 한바탕 웃으시면서 흐믓한 마음으로 아기를 쳐다보는 모습들, 또한 정말 해맑은 해바라기 같습니다.(내 아버지의 뜻은 아들을 보고 믿는 자마다 영생을 얻는 이것이니 마지막 날에 내가 이를 다시 살리리라 하시니라 요한복음 6:40)우리의 자녀들이 이시간을 통해 온전히 하나님께 맡기기를 소망하며, 하나님의 사랑안에서 부모를 공경하며 하나님의 영원한 미래가 보장된 자녀되기를 진정으로 기도합니다. 소재:sunflower,Pompom.Iris, Ti Leaves.

5월 16일에 이재윤/안지연 가정에서 목장모임을 가졌습니다. 이날은 이재윤/안지연 가정의 둘째 아들 이시우의 돌잔치와 목장모임을 함께 하였습니다. 김기택 목사님께서 함께 하셔서 축복의 예배와 기도를 나누어 주셨습니다.      

NCBC YM The WAY Mexico Mission 2015 Training has begun this Sunday. We have a team of 19 students, 2 parents, 1 toddler, and 2 pastors this year. This year our team will focus primarily on "What Is Mission?" during our training here at home and our ministry down in Mexico. We define as team that "Being missional means to make God known" in everything that we do. We are going to train ourselves in following areas: 1) Worship 2) Prayer 3) Discipleship (on the Holy Spirit) 4) Unity. 5) Ministry Please continue to lift our team in your prayer that we are filled with the Holy Spirit as we accomplish our mission. Also, we are praying for one more driver for our team.  If anyone is interested in joining our team, please contact either P.Jae or P.Jamie. Thank you.

주님의 은혜가운데 어와나가 이번학기 페막식을 가지었습니다^^ 그리고 2014년 9월에 시작하여 2015년 5월까지 한학기를 주님의 은혜가운데 진행되었던 어와나가 여름방학을 같게 됩니다. 어와나는 여름방학후 2015년 9월에 다시 시작 되오니 많은 기도부탁드립니다.

지난 5월 9일 토요일에 있었던 섬김목장의 모습을 뒤늦게 전해드립니다. 이번에 새 가족이 처음으로 목장모임에 함께 하여 주셨습니다.  창세기 3장을 함께 공부하며, 말의 중요성에 대해 서로 나누고, 우리가 다른 사람들에게 말로 상처를 준 것에 대해 회개하며, 그 말의 출발점이 되는 우리의 생각(마음)을 하나님께서 주관해 주시기를 기도하였습니다. 우리의 입에서 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 복음의 말만이 나오기를......

토요프로그램을 통하여 늘 행복이 가득합니다.^^     늘 주님의 이름으로 섬기시는 분들이 있기에 더 감사가 넘칩니다.

We'll be selling snacks as part of the AWANA store. It won't be a full meal so make sure your children have good dinner before coming to the club night. And the drinks will be mainly for kids. So anything kids would like would be fine. Juice boxes or bigger container with cups would work. Please talk to your child about being sensitive about other kids with less AWANA bucks and about sharing. Hello The WAY parents,I was bedridden for several days following my surgery on anal fistula on last Tuesday.(The surgery went well.  Please pray for me for a quick recovery and a complete healing and also that I don't have the Crohn's Disease.)It's rare for me and PJamie to stay home rather than finding ourselves in church and/or working on our ministry.I didn't expect that I would be out that long with such condition because last time I had the same surgery (which was on a Friday) I came out to church in less than three days and got back to my normal routine of being a pastor.It wasn't easy being confined at home and being so handicapped.  Thankfully, I've (re-)gained something that is so essential and precious for my spiritual life - the intimacy with the Lord.While I was bedridden basically the entire last week I found myself immersing in God's word and seeking His voice, not out of my ministry/pastoral duty, but because of my genuine desire to be in the presence of the Lord.  Since I started preaching for Thursday morning worship beginning this year I realized that I was keeping up with my devotional life so that I would be ready to preach from the given passage on Thursdays.  However, throughout last week I was able to just sit before God's word and let it speak to me, teach me, nourish me, and draw me closer to the Lord.  How sweet those hours were to me!Being a Christian for a some time there are times when we are just going through the motions.  Some of us might have forgotten our first love.  Some of us might have lost the passion and desire.  Some of us might have become lukewarm.  These are sad realities of our spiritual condition.  But, the truest reality of all is that God is still STILL faithful in His love and grace for His children.  My humble advice and encouragement for all of us is to take a break from whatever we do in life and go sit before the Lord and just enjoy His presence.  Like Mary in Luke 10.Psalm 145:8-9The Lord is gracious and merciful,    slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.The Lord is good to all,    and his mercy is over all that he has made. 시편 145:8-9여호와는 은혜로우시며 긍휼이 많으시며 노하기를 더디 하시며 인자하심이 크시도다여호와께서는 모든 것을 선대하시며 그 지으신 모든 것에 긍휼을 페푸시는도다What's happening:FNF (Friday Night Fellowship)*Please send your child to our FNF for time of sharing lives and relationship building. 6:30~7:20    Dinner7:20~8:15    Small Group8:15~9:30    Weekly Activity5/1 - Hi Sparks families,This Friday marks the last day of AWANA 2014-2015. Thank you for reading with your children, helping your children memorize bible verses and entrusting us to be part of your children's spiritual growth. This Friday, we invite all the parents to be part of the celebration. The ceremony begins at 7pm in the main sanctuary. Children are to sit with their leaders by the group as usual. Parents can sit in the back. During the ceremony, each group will present a song and each grade will memorize a bible verse together. Please help your child memorize this song and the bible verse according to the grade. Sparks will sing "the books of the bible": both Old Testament and New Testament. There's a CD that came with the Sparks book that you can practice with. 5월 둘째주 목장모임입니다. 오늘은 마침 Mother’s Day인 관계로 집안의 어르신과 함께 시간을 보내시는 가정들을 제외하고 4가정이 조촐하게 모였습니다. 창세기 3:11~14 하나님께서 선악과를 따먹은 아담을 불러 물으셨을때 “하나님이 주셔서 나와 함께하게 하신 여자 그가 그 나무 실과를 내게 주므로 내가 먹었나이다”라고 대답한 부분에서 볼때, 나는 상황을 모면하고자 지혜(?)를 써서 하나님을 탓하는 아담처럼 핑계를 대는 사람은 아닌가? 대부분의 우리가 이와 비슷하게 스스로 책임을 지려고 하는 마음보다는 핑계를 대거나 다른 사람의 탓을 하는 경향이 있는 것 같습니다. 혹은 좀더 낫게는 처음에 그럴지라도 결국은 인정을 하고마는 겸손함으로 바뀔수도 있구요. 남이 아니라 스스로에게 핑계를 대면서 위로를 하는 형제님, 남 탓을 하면 사실 마음이 불편하고 자신이 떠안으면 상황이 바뀌면서 마음이 평안해진다는 성숙한 형제님의 나눔도 있었습니다. 아담도 아내 뒤에 숨어 있으면서 자신의 죄를 먼저 자복하지 않았기 때문에 받은 벌에 대해 현재에 이르는 후대에까지 거론이 될 줄은 생각 못하지 않았을까 합니다. 하나님이 부르셨을때 아담은 어떤 느낌이 들었을까요? 책망받을 줄 미리 알고 두려워했을까요?  우리는 배우자가 나를 부를때 어떤가요? 형제님들의 가장 많은 대답은 “무슨 일을 시키려고 그러나?” 랍니다.  부르는 톤에 따라 짐작이 가능하겠지만 불림을 당했을때 긴장을 하는 경우가 많은 것 같군요. 한 형제님은 아이들도 혼낼 일 보다는 칭찬해주기 위해 더 많이 불러줘야겠다는 반성과 다짐을 하셨습니다. 우리 또한 하나님께 불리워졌을때 아담처럼 죄에 대해 핑계대지 말고 순수히 자백하거나, 되도록 칭찬과 상을 받기 위해 불려졌으면 하는 바램을 가져봅니다.
