 일본 선교 일곱째 날이자, 오고세 교회에서의 사역 첫날이 시작되었습니다.대원들은 새누리교회 홈페이지에 올라온 저희 사역 영상이 광고로 소개되는 장면을 모두 기쁘게 시청했습니다.시골 지역이라 그런지 VBS에 참여한 학생 수는 많지 않았습니다. 딱 10명.하지만 그 덕분에 아이들과 더 밀착해 깊이 있는 시간을 보낼 수 있었습니다.늘 그렇듯 VBS 첫날에 처음 온 아이들은 조금 긴장한 모습이었어요.그러나 선생님들이 환한 웃음으로 먼저 다가가자, 아이들은 금세 마음을 열고 함께 뛰어놀기 시작했습니다."매그니파이!" 찬양과 율동을 통해 하나님의 사랑이 아이들 마음에 스며들기 시작했고,전도사님께서 인도하신 성경 공부 시간과 선생님들과 함께한 크래프트 활동을 통해 자연스럽게 복음의 씨앗이 뿌려졌습니다.맛있는 점심 식사 후 이어진 게임, 크래프트, 찬양 시간 속에서 아이들은 완전히 마음의 문을 열었지요.기도를 드리기 위해 조막만 한 두 손을 모은 모습은 얼마나 사랑스럽고 귀엽던지요.VBS 사역을 마친 후, 아이들은 집으로 돌아갔습니다.저녁까지 약 2~3시간이 남은 시간, 신청한 대원들에 한해 인근 지역으로 ‘땅밟기’ 사역을 나갔습니다.늦은 오후, 여전히 무더운 날씨였지만 바울이 미전도 지역을 향해 순례의 길을 걸었던 것처럼,선교대원들은 일본의 한적한 시골 길을 걸으며 하나님을 알지 못하는 영혼들을 위해 복음을 전했습니다.무더운 날씨도 대원들의 열정을 이기지 못했습니다.The seventh day of our Japan mission began, marking the first day of ministry at Ogose Church.Our team members were delighted to see a video featuring our mission work being introduced as a promotional clip on the Saenuri Church website.Since Ogose is a rural area, there weren’t many children participating in the VBS—just ten.But that allowed us to spend more personal and meaningful time with each of them.As is often the case on the first day of VBS, the children were a bit shy and nervous at first.However, when the teachers approached them with bright smiles, they quickly opened up and began to play joyfully together."Magnify!" Through praise and dance, God's love began to seep into their hearts.During Bible study led by the pastor, and through craft activities with the teachers, seeds of the gospel were gently sown in their hearts.After a delicious lunch, the children fully opened their hearts during the afternoon of games, crafts, and more praise.Their tiny hands folded in prayer were so precious and heartwarming.After the VBS ended, the children went home.With about 2–3 hours left until dinner, some of our team members who had signed up headed out for a prayer walk in the neighborhood.Though it was a hot and humid afternoon, just like Paul who walked toward unreached lands,our team walked the quiet countryside paths of Japan, meeting souls who do not yet know God and sharing the gospel with them.The heat was no match for the passion of the team. 습기운을 흠뻑 머금은 작열하는 열기가 사방에서 피어오르던 오후,그러나 선교대원들은 일본 영혼들을 위해 길을 나섰습니다.The scorching afternoon air was thick with heat, rising all around us— but our mission team set out anyway, determined to reach the souls of Japan. 본격적인 ‘땅밟기/노방전도’ 사역에 앞서 단체 사진 한 컷!Before beginning our official prayer walk and street evangelism, we paused for a group photo! 청년부의 현 형제는 길에서 만난 한 할머니께 먼저 다가갔습니다.현 형제는 오고세 교회를 나설 때부터 다짐했어요. “오늘은 꼭, 누구든지 먼저 말을 걸어보자.” 미리 알고 있던 몇 마디 일본어에, 현지에서 배운 표현을 덧붙여 복음을 전하려 했습니다.일본 영혼들을 만날 때마다 늘 앞장서는 형제의 용기와 믿음이 참 귀했습니다.Hyun, a young adult team member, approached an elderly woman he met on the road. He had made a personal vow before leaving Ogose Church: “Today, I’ll be the one to start the conversation—no matter what.” With a mix of Japanese phrases he already knew and some new expressions he had picked up locally, he set out to share the gospel. Hyun’s courage and heart to always take the first step when encountering people in Japan were truly admirable.하지만 일본 분들은 쉽게 마음을 열어주지 않았습니다.지나가는 몇몇 분들께 복음을 전하려 말을 걸었지만, 대부분 바쁘다며 발걸음을 재촉하셨죠. 그렇게 교회로 돌아가던 길, 한 어르신이 자택 뜰에서 일하고 계시는 모습이 보였고,현 형제가 다시 한번 먼저 다가갔습니다.“저희는 미국에서 온 한국인인데요.이 근처에 계신 분들과 이야기 나누고 싶어서 찾아왔습니다. 잠시 시간 괜찮으실까요?”놀랍게도 어르신은 “네, 괜찮아요”라고 응답하셨습니다.저희는 뛸 듯이 기뻤고, 주어진 시간을 최대한 값지게 쓰고자 노력했습니다.교회 선교 앱의 복음 메시지를 끝까지 읽어주시길 부탁드렸고,복음 팔찌를 하나하나 설명드렸습니다.안타깝게도 그 자리에서 영접으로 이어지지는 못했어요.예수님 이야기가 나오자, 어르신은 “우리 집은 절이야!”라며 웃으셨습니다.대대로 불교 집안이라고 하셨지만,우리는 끝까지 진리는 하나뿐이라는 사실,가능하다면 오고세 교회에 한번 방문해 보시라는 권유,그리고 마지막으로 복음 팔찌를 채워드렸습니다.비록 영접은 이루어지지 않았지만,저희는 복음을 끝까지 전하려 애썼고,그 말씀을 끝까지 들어주신 어르신을 위해 기도를 드렸습니다.성함은 오오모리 미사키.미국에 돌아간 뒤에도 미사키 상을 위해 계속 기도하려 합니다.But the hearts of the people here weren’t easily opened. He tried reaching out to a few passersby, but most simply said they were busy and kept walking. On the way back to the church, they saw another elderly man working in a field. Once again, Hyun stepped forward.“We’re Koreans visiting from the U.S.,” he said. “We’d love to talk with neighbors in this area—do you have a moment?” To our surprise, the man answered, “Sure, I don’t mind.” We were overjoyed and made every effort to use that time meaningfully.We kindly asked him to read through the gospel message on the church’s mission app and explained the meaning of each bead on the gospel bracelet. Unfortunately, he didn’t accept Christ on the spot. When we mentioned Jesus, he said with a smile, “Our family runs a Buddhist temple!” He shared that he had grown up in a Buddhist household for generations.Still, we did not give up. We explained again that there is only one truth, invited him to visit Ogose Church someday, and finally fastened the gospel bracelet on his wrist. Although we couldn’t lead him to faith that day, we faithfully shared the full gospel, and he graciously listened until the end. His name is Misaki Ōmori. Even after returning to the U.S., we plan to continue praying for Mr. Misaki. 시부야 교회에서의 VBS 사역을 먼저 경험한 덕분에,오고세 교회에서는 훨씬 더 익숙하게 사역에 임할 수 있었습니다.한 번 해봤기 때문이죠.우리는 오늘의 이 익숙함처럼,복음 전하는 일이 삶의 일부가 되고,결국 삶 그 자체가 되기를 소망하며 기도합니다.내일은 오고세에서의 마지막 사역 사진과 함께 다시 찾아뵙겠습니다.승리하신 주님을 찬양합니다.Because we had already experienced the VBS program in Shibuya, we were much more confident and prepared during the VBS at Ogose Church. Once you’ve done it before, it feels more familiar.And just like that growing familiarity, we pray that sharing the gospel becomes not just part of our lives, but the very rhythm of our daily living. 고베에서 맞은 일본 선교 여섯째 날, 이곳은 주일이었습니다. 주일예배를 드리기 위해 송효식, 송지연 선교사님이 협력하고 계시는 롯코 아일랜드 교회를 방문하였습니다. 현지 교인들의 따뜻한 환대를 받으며 1부 예배에 참여하였고, 2부로는 저희가 준비한 간증과 특송을 하였습니다.예배를 마친 후, 교회 측에서 준비해주신 점심을 먹고 아쉬운 작별 인사를 남긴 뒤, 다음 행선지인 오고세 교회로 향했습니다. 오고세는 도쿄에서 1시간 반 정도의 거리(사이타마현)에 위치하고 있습니다. 전철 → 신칸센 → 전철 등 꽤 복잡한 교통수단을 이용해야 했고, 전철을 타면서도 2~3회 갈아타야 했지요.여러 가지 이동상의 어려움 끝에 저녁 무렵 마침내 오고세 교회에 도착했고, 이곳을 섬기고 계신 장훈 목사님의 따뜻한 환대를 받았습니다. 비록 피곤했지만, 힘을 모아 내일부터 시작될 VBS 사역을 준비하기 위해 예배당 장식 작업에 바로 들어갔습니다.On our sixth day of the mission in Japan, it was Sunday. We attended worship at Rokko Island Church (六甲アイランド教会), where Missionaries Hyoshik and Jiyoun Song are actively serving in partnership.We were warmly welcomed by the local congregation and joined the first service. During the second part of the program, our team shared testimonies and a special song we had prepared.After the service, we enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by the church and said our heartfelt goodbyes. Then we headed to our next destination — Ogose Church, located in Saitama Prefecture, about an hour and a half from Tokyo.The journey involved multiple transfers — from local trains to the shinkansen and back to local trains — making it a fairly complex trip.After some travel challenges, we finally arrived at Ogose Church in the evening and were warmly greeted by Pastor Janghoon, who oversees the church.Though we were tired, we gathered our strength and got to work decorating the sanctuary in preparation for the upcoming VBS ministry that will begin here tomorrow.  2부 순서로, 저희 팀에서 준비한 신앙 간증을 하였습니다. 이원종 형제가 일본어로 일본 선교에 대한 개인적인 경험과 이번 선교를 결심하게 된 과정을 간증으로 나눴습니다. As the second part of the service, our team shared a faith testimony. Brother Won-Jong gave his testimony in Japanese, sharing his personal experiences with mission work in Japan and the journey that led him to take part in this mission.어제에 이어 하루카 자매의 간증이 있었습니다. 불교 집안에서 태어난 그녀가 방황끝에 그리스도인이 된 감동적인 이야기였습니다.Following yesterday’s program, Sister Haruka shared her testimony. It was a moving story of how she, born into a Buddhist family, wandered for a time before ultimately becoming a Christian. 저희 선교대원이 준비한 일본어 찬양을 특송으로 불렀습니다. 제목은 꽃도(花も). 일본분들도 모두 함게 불러주셨어요.Our mission team sang a special song in Japanese that we had prepared — the worship song "Hana mo" (花も). To our joy, the Japanese congregation joined in and sang along with us.헤이지기 전 송효석, 송지연 선교사님과 기념 사진을 찍었습니다. 이곳에서의 기억을 오래오래 남기고 싶었습니다.Just before we left, we took a photo with Missionaries Hyoshik and Jiyoun Song — a small way to capture the precious memories we hope to cherish for years to come.---------------롯코 아일랜드 교회에서의 예배를 마치고, 오고세 교회로 이동하기 위해 대원들은 신칸센을 타고 도쿄로 향했습니다. 가는 길이 다소 험난(?)했지만 하나님의 은혜로 무사히...Following the worship service at Rokko Island Church, our team took the Shinkansen toward Tokyo to continue our journey to Ogose Church. Though the trip had its hurdles, we arrived safely — all by God’s grace.신간센을 탄 직후의 선교대원들의 모습입니다.This is what our mission team looked like right after getting on the Shinkansen — tired but joyful!30분뒤의 모습입니다. 모두 너무 피곤했어요!30 minutes later… this was the scene. Everyone was completely exhausted!신칸센 도쿄역에 내린뒤, 오고세까지 가기 위해 전철로 갈아탑니다.After arriving at Tokyo Station by Shinkansen, we transferred to a local train to continue our journey to Ogose.도쿄역에서 이케부쿠로역까지 한번, 이케부쿠로에서 사카도역까지 한번, 전철을 두번 갈아타는 복잡한 경로를 거쳐 드디어 오고세 교회가 있는 사이타마현의 부슈카라사와역에 도착했습니다. 복잡한 신칸센 및 전철 이동시, 일본 지리에 익숙한 강사룡 형제가 팀원을 이끌어 주었습니다. 형제님이 아니었으면 대원들 모두 미아가 되었을 거에요.After two train transfers — first from Tokyo Station to Ikebukuro, then from Ikebukuro to Sakado — we finally arrived at Bushi-Karasawa Station in Saitama Prefecture, where Ogose Church is located. Navigating the complex journey involving both Shinkansen and local trains wasn’t easy, but Brother Saryong, who knows Japan well, guided our team every step of the way. Honestly, without him, we all might have gotten completely lost!   부슈카라사와 역에 도착하니, 오고세 교회의 장훈 목사님 뿐 아니라, 김현 목사님께서도 시부야에서 차를 가지고 와주셔서, 대원들 무두 짐을 실을 수 있었습니다. 덕분에 교회까지 걷는 걸음이 한층 가벼웠습니다.When we arrived at Bushi-Karasawa Station, not only was Pastor Janghoon from Ogose Church there to greet us, but Pastor Hyun Kim also drove all the way from Shibuya to help. Thanks to them, we were able to load all of our luggage into their cars, making the walk to the church much lighter — both physically and in spirit.선교대원이 오고세 교회에 도착한 직후, 오고세 교회를 섬기고 계시는 장훈 목사님께서 대원들과 2박3일간의 사역을 위해 기도를 해주셨습니다.As soon as we arrived at Ogose Church, Pastor Hoon Jang, who faithfully serves the congregation, lifted us up in prayer — blessing the team for the two nights and three days of ministry ahead. 저녁 식사후 VBS 준비를 하는동안 오고세 교회의 밤은 이렇게 저물고 있었습니다.While we spent the evening getting ready for VBS, the night gently fell upon Ogose Church.도쿄의 시부야 교회와 달리, 오고세 교회가 있는 지역은 전형적인 시골 지역입니다. 그래서 VBS에 참여할 아이들도 10명 남짓이고요. 내일 만날 아이들이 어떤 아이들일지 무척 궁금해집니다. 내일 이들의 사진과 함께 다시 찾아뵙겠습니다! Unlike the Shibuya Church in the heart of Tokyo, Ogose Church is located in a quiet, rural area. Only about ten children are expected to attend the VBS here, and we’re already wondering what kind of little ones we’ll meet tomorrow. We’ll be back with their photos and stories in our next update! 일본선교 5일차, 고베에서 하루종일 사역이 진행되었습니다. 고베에는 저희 교회에서 후원중인 송효식, 송지연 선교사님이 계세요. 선교사님께서 준비해주신 장소(아시야 시민회관)에서 미니 콘서트를 진행했습니다. 예상보다 많은 분들(40여명)이 와주셨습니다. 준태형제님이 인도해주신 워십에 많은 이들이 반응하셨습니다. 영어가사였지만 1/3이상의 분들이 따라불렀습니다. 이후 사룡형제님, 하루카, 제니퍼자매님의 간증, 선교대원이 준비했던 스킷과 바디워십을 통해 은혜를 나눴습니다.콘서트가 끝난뒤, 방문해주신 분들과 저희 선교대원들이 친교의 시간을 가졌습니다. 성별, 연령대, 신자/미신자 등 다양한 일본분들과 직접 소통하는 귀중한 시간이었습니다. 많은 신자들이 예배에 대한 마음은 있지만 제대로 된 교회가 주변에 없어서 가정예배를 드린다고 합니다. 미신자들에게는 복음에 대해 소개하는 귀한 시간이었습니다. On our fifth day, the team spent the entire day serving in Kobe, where our church supports Missionaries Hyoshik Song and Jiyoun Song. At the venue prepared by the missionaries — the Kobe Civic Center — we held a mini concert. To our surprise, more than 40 people came to attend.Many were touched during the worship led by Brother Joontae. Even though the songs were in English, over a third of the attendees sang along. Following the worship, Brother Saryong, Sister Haruka, and Sister Jennifer shared their testimonies. We also shared God's grace through a skit and body worship prepared by the mission team.After the concert, we had a time of fellowship with those who attended. It was a precious opportunity to personally connect with a wide range of people — men and women of different ages, both believers and non-believers. Many believers expressed that they long to worship but don’t have a church nearby, so they hold house worship services. For non-believers, it was a valuable chance to be introduced to the gospel.------------------------사역을 위해 고베 숙소에서 나오는 길, 아침이었지만 폭염으로 대기는 이미 후끈했습니다. 하지만 대원들의 마음의 뜨거움이 더 컸지요.On our way out from the lodging in Kobe for the day’s ministry, the morning air was already hot and heavy from the heat wave. But the passion in our team’s hearts burned even stronger.시민회관에 도착한 이후 대원들은 교제사역이 있을 회의실에 모여 오늘 사역을 위한 워십과 기도회를 가졌습니다.After arriving at the civic center, the team gathered in the meeting room — the space where the fellowship ministry would take place — to begin the day with worship and prayer. 중식 이후 미니 콘서트가 진행될 뮤직홀로 이동하여 공연 리허설을 진행했습니다. 시간이 되자 초대를 받으신 일본분들이 한두분씩 도착하셨지요. After lunch, we moved to the music hall where the mini concert would take place and held a rehearsal. As the starting time approached, our invited Japanese guests began to arrive, one by one.기도로 준비하는 워십 콘서트 팀!The worship concert team, covering every moment in prayer as they prepare. 준태 형제님이 인도하신 CCM 워십 콘서트는 은혜가 흘러넘치는 시간이었습니다. 관객으로 오신 일본분들은 신자, 미신자가 섞여 있었지만, 모두들 찬양의 고백에 모두들 기쁨을 누렸습니다.Led by Brother Joontae, the CCM worship concert was filled with God’s grace. Whether they were believers or not, all the Japanese guests who attended were moved and uplifted by the songs of praise.Jeniffer 자매님의 신앙 간증은 많은 울림이 있던 시간이었습니다. 일본분들 뿐아니라 함께한 선교대원들의 마음에도 감동으로 다가왔어요.Sister Jeniffer’s testimony of faith was a deeply moving moment. It touched not only the hearts of our Japanese guests, but also left a lasting impression on the mission team members who were there with her. 참석하신 일본분들이 처음엔 경직된 분위기로 듣고만 계셨지만, 이후 계속된 워십에서, 점차 마음을 열고 함께 따라 부르는 모습이 있었습니다. 은혜로운 장면이었습니다.At first, the Japanese attendees listened quietly in a rather reserved atmosphere. But as time went on, they began to open their hearts and even joined in the singing — it was a truly grace-filled moment to witness. 청년들의 Body Worship Dance는 언제 봐도 은혜롭습니다.There’s something deeply moving about the young adults’ Body Worship dance — it never fails to bless those who see it.----------------뮤직홀에서 미니 콘서트를 마친 뒤, 별도로 준비한 회의실에서 선교대원과 일본분들의 소그룹 교제의 시간이 있었습니다. 언어 장벽을 감안해 그룹별로 통역이 가능한 인원을 배치하려 했습니다. 소그룹이 아홉인데, 저희쪽에서 일본어가 가능한 인력이 4그룹정도를 커버했고, 두분 선교사님이 도움을 주셔서 6그룹까지 통역이 가능했습니다. 나머지 3그룹은 바디 랭귀지, 통역앱 등 모든 수단을 동원하여 소통하였습니다. :)After the mini concert at the music hall, we moved to a separate meeting room for small group fellowship between the mission team and our Japanese guests. To overcome the language barrier, we did our best to assign someone who could interpret in each group. Out of the nine small groups, our team had enough Japanese speakers to cover four, and with the help of the two missionaries, we were able to provide interpretation for six groups in total. As for the remaining three groups — we got creative! With body language, translation apps, and lots of smiles, meaningful conversations still happened. :) 고베에서의 사역은 특별한 의미가 있었습니다. 그동안 해왔던 VBS가 일본의 거점 교회에 초대된 어린 영혼들에게 말씀을 심는 귀중한 사역이었다면, 고베는 일본의 많은 성인들, 특히 선교사님이 고베에 다져놓으신 인간관계망에 하나님의 역사하심을 더하는 사역이었습니다. 참가해주신 일본분들을 뵙고 이야기를 나누면서 선교대원들도 많은 은혜를 누렸습니다. 내일은 송효식, 송지연 선교사님께서 협력하시는 롯코 아일랜드 교회(六甲アイランド教会)에 방문하여 주일 예배를 드릴예정입니다. 또 내일 사역이 정리되면 소식을 전하도록 하겠습니다.감사합니다. While the VBS programs we’ve done so far have focused on planting seeds of God’s Word in the hearts of young children invited to local base churches, the Kobe ministry was unique in that it reached many adults in Japan — especially through the network of relationships that Missionaries Hyoshik and Jiyoun Song have faithfully built over time. As we met and spoke with the Japanese guests who attended, our mission team was also deeply blessed and encouraged.Tomorrow, we will attend Sunday worship at Rokko Island Church (六甲アイランド教会), where Missionaries Song continue to serve in partnership. 오늘은 일본선교 네째날, 시부야 교회에서 보내는 마지막날 입니다. 어제와 마찬가지로 VBS를 진행하되, 마지막 오후시간은 기쁨으로 드립니다. 사역후 바로 장식 철거를 한뒤 짐을싸서 다음교회로 향했어요. 비록 시부야 교회에서의 시간은 짧았지만, 깊은 교제가 가득했습니다. 감사로 가득 찬 마음을 안고, 이제 우리는 선교의 다음 장을 향해 나아갑니다.Just like yesterday, we ran the VBS program again today. In the afternoon, we closed with a special session full of joy, celebrating with the children in a different and meaningful way.After the program, we quickly began taking down all the decorations and packed our things to head to the next church.Though our time at Shibuya Church was short, it was filled with deep connections. With hearts full of gratitude, we now move forward, looking ahead to the next chapter of our mission.  오늘 점심은 오니기리. 맛있는 주먹밥입니다. VBS 오전 프로그램이 진행되는 동안, 시부야 교회 자매님들이 주방에서 만들어 주셨어요. 감사합니다!Today's lunch was onigiri, delicious Japanese rice balls. While the VBS morning program was in progress, the sisters from Shibuya Church kindly made them in the kitchen. We are so grateful!주먹밥은 남녀노소 불문하고, 최고의 음식입니다!Rice balls are the perfect food, loved by people of all ages!스킷팀들은 본방전 기도로 준비합니다!The skit teams prepare in prayer before the main program! VBS 마지막날에 스킷과 댄스 공연 등 볼거리 한가득을 관중에게 투척해요!On the last day of VBS, we shower the audience with a full lineup of skits, dance performances, and more!벌과 나비가 마지막 Magnified Body Worship에 등장하려 무대뒤에서 준비중입니다. :)A bee and butterflies are backstage, getting ready to make their appearance in the final Magnified Body Worship. :)VBS 마지막 순서로, 모든 아이들이 조별로 무대에 올라 Body Worship을 합니다. 부모님들은 자신의 자녀들이 율동을 하는 것이 너무 이쁘기만 해요.For the final program of VBS, all the children come on stage by group to perform Body Worship. The parents can’t help but find their children’s movements absolutely adorable. -----------------------시부야 교회에서 모든 일정을 마친뒤, 바로 고베로 향했습니다. 데코레이션을 모두 철거하고, 모든 짐을 챙긴 뒤, 신간센 열차가 다니는 시나가와 역까지 전철로 이동합니다. 시부야 역과 같은 JR 라인이기 때문에 갈아탈 일은 없었습니다. 하지만 퇴근 시간이랑 겹쳐 전철안은 완전 만원이었습니다!After completing all the scheduled programs at Shibuya Church, we headed straight to Kobe. We took down all the decorations, packed up all our belongings, and traveled by train to Shinagawa Station, where the Shinkansen operates. At Shin-Kobe Station, Missionaries Hyo-Sik Song and Ji-Yeon Song came to greet us. In Kobe, the missionaries’ lodging was arranged through Airbnb, and they kindly guided us all the way to the accommodation. 폭염을 뚫고 무사히 고베에 도착, 걸어서 숙소로 이동하는 길입니다. 이곳 새로운 사역지, 고베에서 맡겨진 사역을 잘 감당할 수 있도록 기도 부탁드립니다. 내일 사역을 마친 뒤, 새로운 모습으로 다시 인사드리겠습니다.('We’ve safely arrived in Kobe, pressing through the intense summer heat. Please pray that we may faithfully carry out the mission entrusted to us at this new location. After tomorrow’s ministry, we’ll greet you again—refreshed and renewed.)

일본 선교 셋째 날입니다! VBS를 통해 선교대원들은 아이들과 많이 친해졌습니다. 동경 시부야 교회에서 VBS 둘째 날, 크래프트와 게임으로 아이들과 즐거운 시간을 보내는 동시에, 바이블 스토리를 통해 본격적으로 예수님을 전하는 시간을 가졌어요. This is the third day of our Japan mission! Through VBS, the mission team has become much closer with the children. On the second day of VBS at Shibuya Church in Tokyo, we had a great time with the kids doing crafts and games, while also taking time to share about Jesus through Bible stories.새벽부터 일어나 선교대원의 든든한 아침 식사를 위해, 북어국을 끓인 형제자매님들, 사랑합니다!To the brothers and sisters who got up at dawn to cook hearty dried pollack soup for the mission team—thank you, we love you!아침 묵상 시간에는 한 명의 대원을 위해 중보 기도 시간을 가졌습니다.During morning devotion, we spent time interceding in prayer for one of the team members.뒤에서 선교대원을 지켜주셨던 든든한 자매님들. Jeniffer 자매님, 미지 상, Crystal 자매님.Quietly but faithfully supporting the mission team from behind the scenes were our amazing sisters — Jeniffer, Miji, and Crystal. Thank you for being our pillars of strength.본격적으로 VBS 둘째 날 사역 시작!  Then the second day of VBS ministry officially began!그리고 본격적으로 선생님들 수난이 시작됩니다.And this is where the teachers' “suffering” truly begins!Daniel Lee 선생님이 가장 자주 고초를 당했네요.No doubt about it — Mr. Daniel Lee was the most frequent victim of all the chaos! 오늘 점심은 교회에서 준비해주신 돼지고기 덮밥이었습니다. 아이들이 하나도 남기지 않고 다 먹었지요.For lunch, we enjoyed delicious pork rice bowls prepared by the church. 일본 선교 두 번째 날이 밝았습니다! 전날 모든 대원들이 준비한 데코레이션 아래서 차분히 본격적인 사역준비를 시작합니다. The second day of the Japan mission has begun! Under the decorations that all team members prepared the day before, we calmly begin our full-fledged ministry.매일매일의 선교기간은 기도와 묵상으로 시작되지요. 오늘의 일정을 지켜달라고 하나님께 간절히 간구합니다.Each day of the mission begins with prayer! We earnestly ask God to watch over today! 선교기간 내내 묵상전 갖는 워십은 준태형제님이 인도해 주셨습니다.Each day before our morning devotion, Brother Joontae led us in worship — a meaningful rhythm that continued throughout the mission trip. 어젯밤에 하지 못한 입구 데코는 오늘 아침에 마무리 했습니다. The entrance decorations, which we didn’t get to finish last night, were completed this morning. It was a great team effort to start the day.두근두근! 드디어 손님들을 맞습니다. 올해 동경시부야복음교회 VBS에 참여할 일본 아이들은 Pre-K부터 5학년까지 총 48명입니다. 그중 1/3 정도는 교회 성도님들 자녀들이고, 2/3는 인근에 사는 일본인들의 자녀들이죠.인근에서는 2개월 전부터 모집을 했다고 합니다. 따라서 아직 하나님을 알지 못하는 가정이에요.작년에 왔던 친구들이 올해 또 오는 경우도 있고, 작년에 온 친구가 새롭게 친구들을 데려오기도 해요. 모두 모두 추수할 곡식들이랍니다.Excitement in the air! We finally welcome our guests. This year, a total of 48 Japanese children from Pre-K to 5th grade are participating in VBS at Tokyo Shibuya Gospel Church.About one-third are children of church members, and two-thirds are children of nearby Japanese families.We started recruitment two months ago, so many of these families don’t yet know God.Some kids who came last year returned again this year, and others brought along new friends. They are all the harvest waiting to be gathered.오전 10시가 되자 한두명씩 엄마손에 이끌려 어린 일본 친구들이 찾아옵니다.As the clock struck 10 a.m., young Japanese children started to arrive, hand in hand with their mothers.아직 하나님을 알지 못하는 가정에서 많이 오기 때문에, 아이를 drop하러 온 부모들에게도 틈만 나면 말씀을 전한답니다.오늘은 지영 자매께서 두 분의 일본 엄마를 영접시켰어요! 아멘!Since many come from non-believing families, we seize every opportunity to deliver Gospel to the parents who drop off their children.Today, Sister Jiyoung led two Japanese mothers to accept God! Amen!VBS에 참여한 일본 아이들과 선교대원, 시부야 교회 스탭들이 약간은 긴장한 얼굴로 서로 인사를 나눴어요.The Japanese children attending VBS, the mission team members, and the Shibuya Church staff exchanged greetings — with a hint of nervousness on their faces.그와 동시에 예배당 한켠에서는 오늘 오전, 오후에 있을 크래프트 시간을 위해 분주히 준비하는 손길들이 있었지요.Meanwhile, in a quiet corner of the sanctuary, helping hands were busily getting things ready for the day’s craft sessions — both morning and afternoon.학년별로 A부터 D까지 반배정을 했어요. 그리고 각 반 선생님들은 아이들에게 반갑게 인사를 나눴지요. 이때까지도 아이들은 긴장감 역력!The kids were grouped into Classes A through D according to their grade. The teachers welcomed them with warm smiles, but you could still see the nerves on the children’s faces!VBS의 꽃은 몸으로 드리는 예배인 Body Worship! 첫날과 마지막날에는 특별히 벌과 나비가 등장해 아이들을 기쁘게 해준답니다.Body Worship is the heart of VBS — a time when we offer praise not just with our voices, but with our whole selves. On the first and last days, a cheerful bee and butterfly join in, delighting the children with their fun surprise! See you all again tomorrow! 그렇게 선교 둘째 날이 끝났습니다. 본격적으로 VBS가 시작된 날이었죠.일본 현지 교회에서 VBS는 매우 중요한 행사라고 합니다. 일본인들이 성인이 되면 대부분 마음문을 닫기 때문에 전도가 매우 힘든 상태가 돼요.그런데 어릴 때 여름 캠프라는 명목으로 참가했던 기억이 남는다면, 이를 통해 성인이 되었을 때 하나님께로 돌아올 수 있는 단초가 되어줄 수 있다고 합니다. 내일 또 새로운 소식으로 찾아뵐께요!That’s how the second day of the mission came to a close — the first full day of VBS.VBS is considered a very important event for local Japanese churches, because once people become adults, most close their hearts, making evangelism much more difficult.However, if they have fond memories of attending a summer camp as children, it can become a seed that brings them back to God later in adulthood.Looking forward to sharing more with you tomorrow!

Please send your encouragement and support!선교는 늘 그렇듯, 새누리 교회에서 시작됩니다. 약속시간인 8:00시에 교회로 모인 대원들은, 지난 토요일, 주일에 쌌던 선교용 짐을 끌고 나왔습니다.Missions, as always, begin at Saenuri Church. By 8:00 sharp, everyone gathers without being told—pulling their luggage out as if on cue.이른 아침부터 많은 분들이 나와 주셔서, 선교 대원들 배웅 겸 짐을 싣는 것을 도와주셨습니다. Many people came out early in the morning to see off the mission team and help load their luggage.일본 선교 기간 내내 대원들이 사용할 핸드북입니다. 묵상, 찬양, 악보, 암송 구절이 담겨 있지요. 공항에서 나눠주기로 했습니다.This is the handbook the team will use throughout the mission trip to Japan. It contains devotionals, praise songs, sheet music, and memory verses. We plan to distribute it at the airport.공교롭게도 선교 출발일이 생일이었던 세라 자매가 뜨거운 축하를 받았습니다. 선교일이 생일이라 개인적으로도 뜻깊었다고 해요.​Coincidentally, the day of departure for the mission trip was also Sister Sarah’s birthday, so she received a warm celebration. She shared that having her birthday fall on the mission trip made it personally meaningful for her as well.선교를 출발하기 전 기도로 무장합니다. 문정현 목사님, 황두식 목사님께서 대원들의 영육간 강건함과, 만나게 될 일본 영혼들의 마음이 준비되길 기도해 주셨습니다.Before departing for the mission, we arm ourselves with prayer. Making the most of this kind of downtime is also a great way to maximise the benefits of the mission trip. 이제 일본으로 갑니다. 탑승전 단체사진! Now we're heading to Japan. One last group photo before boarding! Gayle 자매님은 비행기 안에서도 바쁘셔요. 기도제목을 정리해 교회로 보내고 있습니다.Sister Gayle stays busy even in the air, thoughtfully compiling prayer requests to share with the church. 하네다 공항 도착. 10시간 넘는 비행으로 모두들 조금은 피곤하고 초췌한 얼굴. Arrived at Haneda Airport. Everyone looks a bit tired and worn out by more than 10 hours flight.입국 신고를 마친 뒤 개인, 공용짐을 모두 찾은 선교대원들은 이제 입국장으로 나서기로 합니다. (참고로 일본은 미국에서 사전에 온라인으로 신고를 할 수 있습니다. 최종 신고후 QR코드를 받아두면 현장에서 처리가 간편해집니다.)After completing immigration and collecting both personal and team luggage, the mission team members prepare to head toward the arrival hall.(For reference, Japan allows travelers from the U.S. to submit immigration and customs forms online in advance. Once submitted, a QR code is issued, which makes the process much smoother at the airport.)  다른 항공편으로 오셨던 Jeniffer 자매님, 한국에서 출발했던 지영 자매님 가족이 먼저 도착해, 게이트 앞에서 선교대원들을 기다리고 있다고 사진을 보내주셨습니다. Sister Jeniffer, who arrived on a different flight, and Sister Jiyoung’s family, who came from Korea, arrived earlier and sent us a photo from the gate — they’re waiting for the rest of the mission team.  우여곡절 끝에 첫 사역지인 동경 시부야 복음교회에 도착했습니다. 공항에서 짐 체크하고, 짐싣고, 여러대의 차로 나눠 오면서 인원점검 등으로 정신없었습니다. 덕분에 공항 -> 교회까지의 여정은 사진으로 담지 못했습니다. After many twists and turns, we finally arrived at our first mission site — Tokyo Shibuya Gospel Church. Between checking luggage at the airport, loading everything, splitting up into multiple cars, and doing headcounts, things were hectic, so we couldn't capture the journey from the airport to the church in photos.선발대로 도착한 Gayle 자매님께서 공용짐에서 식재료들을 분리하여 정리하고 계십니다. 또한 이후 가게 될 오고세 교회용 물품들도 별도로 구별해 두었지요. Jeniffer 자매님도 많은 일을 하셨어요!Sister Gayle, who arrived ahead of the team, is sorting through the team luggage, separating out the food supplies and organizing them. She also set aside the items we’ll be taking later to the Ogose Church. Sister Jeniffer has also been doing a lot behind the scenes — thank you both! 시부야 교회측에서 준비해주신 도시락으로 대원들은 게눈 감추듯 허기를 달랩니다.The team members quickly satisfy their hunger with the bento meals graciously prepared by the Shibuya Church — the food disappears in the blink of an eye. 올해 새롭게 부임하신 시부야 교회 김현 목사님과 교회에서 헌신하고 계시는 테츠야, 준이치 형제님 소개.Introducing Pastor Hyun Kim, who was newly appointed to Shibuya Church this year, along with Brothers Tetsuya and Junichi, who are faithfully serving in the church.-----------------식사를 마친 선교대원들은 내일부터 시작될 VBS 사역을 위해 예배당, 복도, 입구 데코레이션에 참여했어요. 시차때문에 모두 피곤할텐데 수고가 많았습니다.After finishing their meal, the mission team members jumped right into decorating the sanctuary, hallways, and entrance for the upcoming VBS starting tomorrow. Everyone must be tired from the jet lag, but they still gave their best — thank you for your hard work! 모두들 많이 피곤했을텐데 그럼에도 마지막까지 웃음을 잃지 않았습니다. Though they were surely tired, their smiles stayed with them all the way to the end.  선교 대원들의 데코 작업에 시부야 교회 김현 목사님과 사모님께서는 흐뭇함을 감추지 못하셨습니다. Pastor Hyun Kim and his wife from Shibuya Church looked on with warm smiles, clearly touched by the mission team's heartfelt effort in decorating the church. 우여곡절 끝에 이렇게 일본 선교 첫날이 마무리 되었습니다. 일본선교는 첫날이 가장 힘들다고 해요. 시차 적응할 새없이 바로 사역에 들어가야 하기 때문이죠. 대원들 모두 피곤했지만 모두들 기쁘게 사역 준비를 감당했습니다. 내일부터 본격적으로 VBS사역이 진행됩니다. 일본 아이들을 만날 생각에 모두들 설레는 마음으로 잠자리에 들었습니다!그럼 또 내일 또 새로운 소식으로 찾아뵙겠습니다!!! 승주찬!And so, after many ups and downs, the first day of our Japan mission has come to a close. They say the first day is always the toughest — there's no time to adjust to the time difference before diving straight into ministry. Though everyone was exhausted, each team member joyfully took part in preparing for the work ahead. Starting tomorrow, VBS ministry begins in full swing. Excited to meet the children of Japan, everyone went to bed with hearts full of anticipation!That’s all for today — we’ll be back with more updates tomorrow!!!

일본 단기선교팀(26명) 주님과 함께 출발했습니다. 아무쪼록 팀원 모두 안전하고 건강하게 도착하기를 기도부탁드립니다. 승주찬!

드럭 리햅센터를 마지막으로 선교의 공식적인 일정이 끝났고, 오후 시간에는 로컬 몰에 들러서 멕시코의 문화를 좀더 깊게 경험해 보는 시간을 가졌습니다. 그 곳에서도 전도의 열기는 식지 않았습니다. 형제, 자매님들을 통한 주님의 씨앗은 그렇게 퍼져 나가고 있었습니다. With the visit to the rehab center, our official mission schedule came to a close. In the afternoon, we had a chance to stop by a local mall, where we could take a deeper look into the culture and daily life of Mexico.Even there, the fire of evangelism did not die down. Through the brothers and sisters on our team, God’s seeds of truth and love continued to be sown — quietly, powerfully, and faithfully.용돈 10불씩 받고 행복해 하는 형제 자매님들!The brothers and sisters were so happy to receive $10 each as spending money — their faces lit up with joy!그렇게 즐거운 시간을 보낸 세미너리로 돌아와 마지막 마무리와 주님이 주신 은혜들을 쉐어했습니다. 저자가 너무 피곤했던 관계로 사진을 많이 남기지 못하였지만 많은 아이들이 이번 선교를 통해 주신 은혜를 나누었습니다. 나이는 어리지만, 깊은 묵상과 주님이 하신 일들을 나누는 아이들을 보며, 정말 다음세대를 통해 일하시는 주님을 발견했습니다. After spending a fun and relaxing time at the mall, we returned to the seminary for our final wrap-up and time of sharing the grace God had poured out during this mission. I, the writer, was unfortunately too tired to take many photos, but what I do remember clearly is how many of the kids shared the blessings they had received throughout this trip.Though young in age, their reflections were deep and sincere — testimonies of what God had done in and through their hearts. As I listened to them share, I could clearly see God at work in and through the next generation. It was a beautiful and powerful reminder that His kingdom is alive and moving.이렇게 우당탕탕 지글지글 2025년 멕시코선교를 마무리해보려 합니다. 멕시코 미션이 4번째지만, 그때 마다 주님은 새로운 은혜로 비젼으로 우리의 길을 인도해주셨고, 정말 피곤하지만 행복했던 시간이었습니다. 몸은 멕시코에서 떠나지만, 폴 목사님의 말씀처럼 우리의 매일의 선교가 삶을 통해 나타나야 한다는 말씀을 붙잡으며 나아갑니다. And just like that — with all the chaos, the heat, and the laughter — we wrap up our 2025 Mexico Mission.Though this was my fourth time in Mexico, each time the Lord has led us with new grace and fresh vision, reminding us that His work is never the same, and His mercies are always new. It was a time that left us exhausted, but deeply joyful and fulfilled.Even though our bodies are leaving Mexico, we hold on to the message Pastor Paul shared with us: “Our mission must continue through our everyday lives.” With that truth in our hearts, we go forward — still on mission, still following Jesus.오늘은 특별히 몇몇 형제 자매님께 부탁드렸던 짧은 쉐어링을 나누며, 2025년 멕시코 미션 트립을 마무리해봅니다. Today, we wrapped up our 2025 Mexico Mission Trip by hearing a few short sharings from some of our brothers and sisters who had been asked to reflect ahead of time.군호형제님 ft. “선교 마지막 스케줄로 약물중독 재활치료 센터를 방문했습니다. 그동안 어른들이 연습했던 중독에 관한 죄의 이야기를, 중독으로 고통받고 있는 이들에게 나누었습니다. 그들 또한 예수의 능력을 믿고 의지하겠다고 다짐하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 하나님께서 우리에게 주신 감동과 권면이, 고통으로 몸부림치는 이들에게 잘 전해지길 소망합니다.”Brother Goonho’s reflection“As the final schedule of our mission trip, we visited a drug rehabilitation center. The adults on our team shared the story about the sin of addiction, which they had been preparing and practicing.We were able to deliver this message to those who are currently suffering from addiction.During the time we spent together, many of them made a commitment to trust in and rely on the power of Jesus.We pray that the conviction and encouragement God placed in our hearts was faithfully delivered to those who are struggling in pain, and that it becomes a seed of hope and transformation.”TJ 형제님 ft. “This is my second mission trip to Mexico, and I've been praying and looking forward to reconnecting with the children I met in 2024. In particular, I had written down the names of three children who touched my heart last year during VBS: Emma (6), Sofia (6), and Regina (9). I was looking for them in the first couple of days, but they didn't come. I was sad but continued to pray as we had two more days of VBS left. On the evening of the second day, we walked around the neighborhood to do street evangelism. We met two ladies, and I recognized one of them. I asked her if she was the grandma of Emma, Sofia and Regina. She said yes, surprised that a foreigner knew the names of her grandkids. I was so happy to see her, and I told her that we were doing VBS this week and that I'd love to see her grandkids. The next day, they came, and I was very excited to see them again with a big smile. We had a wonderful time worshipping, playing, and learning how much Jesus loves us. Reflecting on what had happened, I'm convinced this was not just a coincidence, but it was God working through us. What are the chances of me joining the group evangelizing near the grandma's house (we had 8 different groups). What are the chances that the grandma happened to be outside when we walked by her house (most people were inside their homes because it was over 110 degrees outside). I'm also terrible at remembering people's faces, but somehow God had refreshed my memory from a year ago at the right time. And most surprisingly, the grandma told me later that her grandkids had been asking her when VBS would be happening this year, so they were very happy to know that they were going to attend VBS the next day. God Does!”TJ 형제님 ft. “이번 멕시코 선교는 저에게 두 번째 선교입니다. 작년에 VBS에서 만났던 아이들을 다시 만나게 되기를 기도하며, 이번 선교를 오랫동안 기대해왔습니다. 특히 제 마음에 깊이 남았던 세 아이, 에마(6), 소피아(6), 그리고 레지나(9)의 이름을 잊지 않고 적어두었고, 이번에도 꼭 다시 만나고 싶었습니다.선교 첫 이틀 동안 내내 아이들을 찾아봤지만 오지 않아서 마음이 아팠습니다. 그래도 VBS 일정이 이틀 더 남아 있었기에, 계속해서 기도하며 기다렸습니다.그러던 둘째 날 저녁, 우리는 동네로 나가 노방 전도를 하게 되었습니다. 그때 두 분의 여성을 만났고, 저는 그 중 한 분을 어디선가 본 듯한 느낌이 들었습니다. 조심스럽게 “혹시 에마, 소피아, 레지나의 할머니세요?”라고 여쭈었더니 깜짝 놀라며 “맞다”고 대답하셨습니다. 외국인이 자기 손주들의 이름을 기억하고 있다는 사실에 놀라신 듯했지만, 저는 너무 기뻤고, 이번 주에 우리가 VBS를 하고 있다고 알려드렸습니다. 아이들을 꼭 다시 보고 싶다고 말씀드렸습니다.그리고 정말 다음 날, 그 아이들이 VBS에 왔습니다. 밝은 웃음으로 저를 반겨주는 모습을 보며 저는 너무나도 감격했고, 함께 찬양하고, 놀고, 예수님이 우리를 얼마나 사랑하시는지를 배우며 정말 행복한 시간을 보냈습니다.이 일을 곰곰이 돌아보며 생각해보니, 이건 단순한 우연이 아니라 하나님께서 분명히 일하고 계셨던 순간이었습니다.여덟 개의 팀 중에서 하필이면 제가 그 할머니 댁 근처를 전도하게 된 것, 그 뜨거운 날씨에 대부분이 집 안에 있던 시간에 할머니가 마침 밖에 나와 계셨던 것, 저는 사람 얼굴을 잘 기억 못하는데 그 순간 1년 전의 기억이 생생하게 떠오른 것, 이 모든 것이 우연이 아니라 하나님의 섬세한 인도하심이었습니다.더 놀라운 것은, 나중에 할머니께서 말씀해주셨는데 그 손주들이 이미 “올해는 VBS 언제 하냐”고 물으며 참여하고 싶어 했다고 하셨습니다. 그리고 우리가 그걸 전하러 찾아간 바로 다음 날, 기쁨으로 아이들이 VBS에 참석하게 된 것입니다.하나님이 하십니다!

Day 6 -  2025 Mexico Mission Trip2025 멕시코 선교 사진 앨범 (2025 Mexico Mission Album) - 2000+ photos2025년 선교보고서(2025 Mexico Mission Trip Daily Report)Adiós por ahora (Goodbye for now)오늘은 드럭 재활 센터(Drug Rehab Center) 방문으로멕시칼리 선교의 마지막 하루를 열었습니다.차에서 내려 철문을 지나며 문득, 작년의 기억이 떠올랐습니다.처음 그곳을 방문했을 때 느꼈던 긴장감,팔에 선명했던 주사 자국들,어디를 향하는지 알 수 없었던 텅 빈 눈빛들,그 속에서 두려움을 감추지 못했던 제 자신이 생각났습니다.하지만 그곳을 나올 때,그 어두움 가운데에도 여전히 역사하시고그 누구보다 이곳의 영혼들을 사랑하시는 하나님의 마음이 느껴졌습니다.그래서인지 이번 방문은 두려움보다는하나님께서 이번에도 어떤 일을 이루실지에 대한 기대감으로 가득했습니다.특히나 이번 방문에는 어덜트 스킷도 예정되어 있었는데, 군호형제님의 부상으로 인해 급하게 한번도 연기를 해보지 못한 하영형제가 투입되면서, 우리가 한 마음으로 잘 맞춰서 스킷을 할수 있을지, 여러 걱정이 마음 한켠에 남아있었습니다. 그러나 주님의 예비하심은 한치의 실수도 부족함도 없으셔서, 우리의 부족함도 들어쓰시는 주님을 보았습니다. 스킷을 보며, 많은 그곳의 분들은 눈물을 흘리셨고, 서비스가 다 끝나고, 우리에게 찬양를 불러주며 그렇게 주님이 주시는 감동에 대답해 주었습니다. Today, we began the final day of our Mexicali mission by visiting the Drug Rehabilitation Center. As we got off the van and walked past the iron gate, memories from last year came rushing back. I remembered the tension I felt during my first visit there — the visible needle marks on their arms, the empty stares that seemed to have lost all direction, and the fear I had tried to hide within myself.But I also remembered walking out of that place with a strong sense of God's presence — that even in such darkness, He is at work, and that He deeply loves each and every soul in that place. So this time, I didn’t feel fear, but rather a sense of expectation, wondering what God would do this time.One unique part of this visit was that we had planned to perform a skit about addiction, prepared by the adults in our team. However, due to an injury that kept Gunho from performing, Hayoung — who had never acted in the skit before — had to step in last minute. Naturally, there were concerns: Would we be able to perform it well as one team, especially with such little time to adjust?But once again, God showed us that His preparations are perfect. There was not a single mistake or lacking part — through our weaknesses, God worked powerfully.As we performed the skit, many of the men at the center were moved to tears. After the service, they responded by singing a song back to us — a song of praise, a response from their hearts to the deep stirring that only God can bring.We witnessed once again how God uses even our limitations to bring about His glory.언제나 기도로 시작Always starting with prayer  드럭 리햅 센터에서 작년에 보았던 심각한 상태의 여자분은 안타깝게도 너무 상태가 심해 우리랑 만날수 없는 상태라는 이야기에 마음이 아팠습니다. 정말 주님 없이는 저도 이런 분들과 똑같은 상황일거라는 생각에 감사하면서도 그분들을 향한 하나님의 안타까운 사랑의 마음 또한 느껴졌습니다. At the rehab center, I heard that one of the women I remembered from last year — someone who had been in a very serious condition — was now in such a critical state that she could not meet with us. My heart ached at the news. It reminded me that if it weren’t for the grace of Jesus in my own life, I could easily be in the same place as her. I was filled with gratitude for God’s saving grace, but also deeply moved by God’s aching love for each soul in that place, especially for those who are still suffering.

C팀전도 폭팔!!! 주님의 강한 부으심! An Explosion of Evangelism — The Lord’s Mighty Outpouring Was Tangibly Felt!C팀에서 이뤄진 히치하이킹 전도이번 멕시코 선교는 정말로 하나님이 준비하신 뜻밖의 축복들과 열린 문들의 축제 같았습니다. 우리가 미처 계획하지 못했던 순간마다 주님께서 길을 예비해 주셨음을 매번 경험했습니다.그중에서도 특별한 순간은 바로 **C팀에서 자발적으로 이뤄진 ‘히치하이킹 전도’**였습니다. 우리 형제자매들은 지나가는 차들을 향해 손을 흔들고 멈춰 세우며, 차에 탄 사람들과 운전자에게 복음을 전했습니다.그들의 담대함과 영혼을 향한 뜨거운 사랑은 보는 이들의 마음을 깊이 울렸고, 우리 자신을 다시 돌아보게 했습니다. 이 장면은 분명히 보여주었습니다 — 믿음으로 한 걸음 내딛을 때, 하나님은 우리의 상상을 뛰어넘는 기회의 문을 여신다는 사실을.Hitchhiking Evangelism – Team CThis mission trip truly felt like a celebration of divine surprises—a festival of open doors that the Lord prepared for us at every step, even when we hadn’t planned them ourselves.One powerful example was the spontaneous “hitchhiking evangelism” by Team C. With boldness and love, our brothers and sisters reached out to cars passing by—waving them down and sharing the gospel with drivers and passengers alike.Watching their passion and unwavering love for souls was deeply moving and challenged our own hearts. It was a vivid reminder that when we step out in faith, God creates opportunities far beyond our imagination.백진영자매님 ft. “Team C에서 안의 성도들에겐 다 전했고 한형제님께서 바깥에 한자매가 울며 전화한다고 해서 어른복음의 전함팀이라 볼수 있는 두명의 형제 자매는 밖에 나가서 전하게 됐다. 그게 하나님이 다른길을 열개 하는것의 시작임. 히치하이킹팀으로 변함. 우리가 올라하며 외칠때 사람들이 설수 있다는걸 알았고 경계심을 풀고 차를 세웠고 스페니시를 조금 할줄아는 형제님이 사영리로 복음을 전하고 다른 자매는 chat got와 구글트랜스레일을 사용해서 기도제목 및 전에 교회 다녔는지 아주 처음 듣는것인지 물으며 팀으로 협력함이 감사. 5차가 섰고 복음이 전해짐. 그중에 만난 많은 영혼들중에 교회다닌사람도 있었지만 그중에 인상깊은것은 알렉산으로와 오스카였다. 둘다 처음 예수님에 대해 들었고 예수님을 믿겠다 함. 두분을 현지 교회 목사님께 연결했고 전화번호를 받음. 나중엔 다른 형제님들도 나오셔서 같이 기도하였음. 하나님이 재미있게 역사하심에 감사함과 찬양드림”Sister Jinyoung Baek ft.“Team C shared the gospel with the people inside the church, but then a brother informed us that a sister outside was crying and trying to call for help. So, two members from the adult evangelism team went outside to minister to her. This marked the beginning of God opening a new path for us.The team quickly transformed into a hitchhiking evangelism group. When we began to lift our voices and proclaim the gospel, people stopped and lowered their guard. A brother who spoke some Spanish shared the gospel verbally, while another sister used ChatGPT and Google Translate to communicate, asking about prayer requests and whether they had attended church before or if it was their first time hearing the gospel. Their teamwork was a blessing.We stopped five vehicles and shared the gospel with many souls. Among those we met, some had been to church before, but the most memorable were two men named Alexandro and Oscar. Both had never heard about Jesus before and declared their faith in Him.We connected them with the local church pastor and received their phone numbers. Later, other brothers joined us, and we prayed together. We are grateful and praise God for how wonderfully and joyfully He is working through this mission.” 휴식, 교제, 나눔, 봉사VBS 가 끝나고, 세미너리로 돌아와, 어떤 그룹은 내일 드럭 센터 방문을 위한 준비, 어떤 팀은 청소를 담당하고, 어떤팀은 교제의 기쁨을, 또 어떤 팀은 쉼의 시간을 보냈습니다. Rest, Fellowship, Sharing, and Service After VBS ended, we returned to the seminary where different groups spent the afternoon in various meaningful ways. Some prepared for tomorrow’s visit to the drug rehabilitation center, others took charge of cleaning duties, some enjoyed the joy of fellowship, and others took time to rest and recharge.VBS의 마지막 날 사역을 마치고, 우리 팀은 다시 세미너리로 돌아왔습니다. 하루하루가 치열했던 선교 일정 가운데, 오늘 오후는 조금 더 여유롭고 따뜻한 쉼의 시간이었습니다. 하나님의 은혜로 각자에게 필요한 방식으로 하루를 마무리할 수 있었던 시간—그 자체가 참 소중했습니다.어떤 팀은 내일 예정되어 있는 드럭 센터 방문 사역을 준비하며, 기도하고, 마음을 다잡는 시간을 가졌습니다. 특히나, 스킷팀 군호형제님의 부상으로 인해 하영형제가 도움의 손길을 주었고, 이 모든 과정들에서 강한 성령의 이끌림을 체험할수 있었습니다.또 다른 그룹은 세미너리의 청소와 정리정돈을 맡아, 묵묵히 섬김의 손길을 더해주었습니다. 누군가에게는 작고 단순한 일이었을지 모르지만, 그 헌신과 땀방울 속에서도 주님을 향한 사랑이 있으리라 믿습니다. 또 어떤 친구들은 오랜만에 주어진 여유 속에서 진심 어린 교제의 시간을 누렸습니다.찬양하며, 서로의 이야기를 듣고, 웃고, 함께한 지난 시간들을 돌아보며, 우리 공동체가 얼마나 귀한지를 다시 한번 느끼는 시간이였음을 믿습니다. 또 그간 컨디션이 좋지 않은 팀원들도 충분히 쉼의 시간을 가지고 있어 주님은 우리가 일할 때뿐 아니라 쉴 때에도 역사하시고 예비하시는 분임을 알려주셨습니다.After completing the final day of VBS ministry, our team returned to the seminary. Amidst the intense and busy schedule of the mission trip, this afternoon was a much-needed time of rest and warmth. It was a precious moment where each person could end the day in the way they needed, all by God’s grace.Some groups spent this time preparing and praying for tomorrow’s visit to the drug rehabilitation center. Notably, due to Brother Gunho’s injury on the skit team, Brother Hayoung stepped in to help, and throughout this process, we experienced the powerful guidance of the Holy Spirit.Another group took on the cleaning and organizing of the seminary, serving quietly and diligently. Though it may have seemed like a small or simple task to some, we believe that in every drop of sweat and every act of devotion, there was deep love for the Lord.Meanwhile, some friends enjoyed heartfelt fellowship during this rare moment of leisure. We praised together, listened to each other’s stories, laughed, and reflected on the time we have shared—reminding ourselves once again how precious our community is.Also, team members who had been feeling unwell were able to take sufficient rest, reminding us that the Lord is at work not only when we labor but also when we rest, preparing and sustaining us in every season.\ Taco Thursday!!! 타코 목요일!세미너리에서 미니 타고스탠드를 준비해주셨습니다!!세미너리에서 준비해준 식사는 항상 너무 맛있어서 우리가 성경암송을 외워야만 하는 또 다른 좋은 모티베이션을 줬습니다. 오늘의 성경암송은 헷갈리고 어려웠지만, 지금처럼 빨리 타코를 먹기위해 빨리 시험에 나간적이 없었던것 같습니다, ㅎㅎ 모두 성공!! 이제 음식에 집중해 봅니다!The seminary kindly prepared a mini taco stand for us!The meals they provide are always so delicious that they give us another great motivation to memorize Bible verses.Today’s Bible verse was tricky and confusing, but I don’t think we’ve ever rushed so much through the recitation just to get to the tacos faster, haha.Everyone succeeded! Now it’s time to focus on the food!모두의 얼굴엔 웃음 꽃이 핍니다!Everyone’s faces are blooming with smiles!맛있는 식사후 영적인 양식 또한! 세미너리 선교사님의 32년 사역을 들으며 선교사님의 삶을 통해 주님만이 일하시고 “Only Jesus” 라는 진리를 붙잡고 나아가신 주님의 역사를 되집어 보는 시간을 가졌습니다. 정말 죽음의 문턱을 여러번 넘기신 선교사님의 간증 - 특히나 우리아이들이 엄청난 반응을 보였던 한 부족의 존경하는 문화였던- 쥐를 먹는 장면들은 우리 아이들에게 비명과 함께 그러나 큰 도전을 주었으리라 믿습니다.  마지막으로 선교사님 부부를 위해 다같이 중보하며 주님의 임재하심을 역사하심에 믿음으로 나아갑니다. 그렇게 아쉬운 하루가 지나갑니다. After a delicious meal, we also received spiritual nourishment!We listened to the story of the missionary’s 32 years of service at the seminary and took time to reflect on how the Lord alone has been working through the missionary’s life, holding firmly to the truth of "Only Jesus."The missionary’s testimony, including multiple near-death experiences, deeply moved us—especially the story about a tribe’s respected cultural practice of eating rats, which elicited screams but also became a powerful challenge for our children.Finally, we all prayed together in intercession for the missionary couple, stepping forward in faith trusting in the Lord’s presence and work.Thus, the day came to a bittersweet close.

2025 Mexico Mission Trip Daily ReportDay 5 -  2025 Mexico Mission Trip2025 멕시코 선교 사진 앨범 (2025 Mexico Mission Album) - 2000+ photos2025년 선교보고서(2025 Mexico Mission Trip Daily Report) Abre mis ojos (Open my eyes)멕시칼리.. 어느덧 선교의 다섯째 날이라는 사실이 다만 아쉽고, 순간순간이 더욱 소중한 하루였습니다.  오늘은 VBS사역을 마무리 하며, 감사하게도 먼저 마무리 된 페인팅 사역으로, 컨디션이 안좋았던 아이들이 많았던 상황에서 잠시나마 여유로운 단비같은 휴식도 취할수 있었습니다.그 시간동안 신학교 건물을 청소하며, 제 정비 하며 하나님께서 허락하신 많은 은혜들을 다시한번 생각해보는 시간들을 가질수 있었습니다. 또한 휴식동안 새누리 아이들과 신학교 근처에 살고 있는 지역 아이들이 놀러와서 함께 축구를 즐기며 언어를 뛰어 넘는 형제안에 아름다운 교제를 나누는 시간도 가질수 있었습니다. 오늘은 마지막 VBS의 시간들도 나누며, 또한 멕시코 선교팀들의 형제,자매, 그리고 아이들의 간증의 순간들도 나누려고 합니다. The realization that our time here is coming to an end brings a sense of sadness, making each moment we have left feel even more precious and meaningful.Today, we wrapped up our VBS ministry. Thankfully, since the painting project was completed earlier than expected, many of our team members—especially those who were feeling physically unwell—were able to experience a refreshing moment of rest, like rain in the desert.During this quiet break, we took the opportunity to clean and organize the seminary building, and in doing so, reflect once again on the countless blessings God has poured out over us throughout this mission.In addition, during our rest time, several local children from the neighborhood near the seminary came to visit. Our Saenuri kids were able to spend time playing soccer with them, enjoying joyful fellowship that transcended language barriers and reminded us again of the beauty of being one family in Christ.Later today, we will also be sharing reflections from the final day of VBS, along with powerful testimonies from our brothers, sisters, and even children who are part of this mission team. It reminded us that even in the driest places, God plants His sanctuary of hope.As always, the start of VBS began with prayer—because we know that it is not by our strength, but by His Spirit that hearts are moved. We prayed earnestly that the Lord would go before us and work powerfully among the children and families we would meet. 언제나 VBS의 시작은 기도로 주님께 온전히 의지합니다. As always, we begin VBS with prayer, fully relying on the Lord.A 교회에서는 특별한 순간이 또한 이루어졌습니다. 어제 패밀리 나잇에서 특별찬양으로 드렸던 Abre mis ojos (Open my eyes) 를 주님이 즉흥적으로 찬양하라는 마음을 주셨고, A 교회에서 있는 목회자 자녀 2명의 드럼과 보컬, Jessie의 드럼연주와 함께 전 VBS에 참여한 모든 사람들이 찬양했습니다. 정말 주님께서 언어나 문화를 뛰어넘어 하나의 마음으로 하나의 목소리로 모아주는 너무나도 소중한 순간이였습니다.A very special moment also took place at Church A. During the VBS program, the Lord impressed upon our hearts—spontaneously and powerfully—to sing “Abre mis ojos” (Open My Eyes) once more, a song we had offered as a special praise during Family Night.Two pastor’s children from the local church joined in, one playing drums and the other singing, and Jessie from our team also accompanied on the drums. Together, everyone who participated in VBS lifted their voices in worship.It was a deeply moving moment—a glimpse of heaven—as the Lord brought together hearts and voices beyond language and culture, uniting us as one in praise.  From Sean (Our NCBC Youth) “Hello! Today is Thursday, and we had our last day of VBS. For me, and the others in Church A, I believe we had a successful last day. What defines a successful VBS? It’s not how fun the crafts and games were, or how entertaining the skit and praise were. I think, at its core, it’s obedience to the Lord. I’m so amazed at how God worked with the kids despite our last-minute prep and our broken Spanish. I got closer to so many kids and, for the first time in any mission trip I’ve been on, I was so sad to say adiós.Moreover, a lot of kids recovered from sickness, which is amazing, but there are still some students not feeling quite right. Yet, how blessed we are to be here today. Missionary Lim shared his testimony today, and one thing he said that stood out to me was, “I am willing to do anything, even eat rats, if it means for the gospel.” I will spend every bit of my energy for this mission, no matter how tired I am, because all the glory must and will go to God.”NCBC Youth Sean’s update안녕하세요! 오늘은 목요일이고, 우리는 VBS(어린이 성경학교) 마지막 날을 보냈습니다. 저와 Church A의 다른 팀원들에게 오늘은 정말 성공적인 마지막 날이었다고 생각합니다. 성공적인 VBS란 무엇일까요? 공예나 게임이 얼마나 재미있었는지, 연극과 찬양이 얼마나 흥미로웠는지가 아니라, 그 본질은 주님께 순종하는 것이라고 생각합니다.우리의 급한 준비와 서툰 스페인어에도 불구하고 하나님께서 아이들과 함께 일하시는 모습을 보고 정말 놀랐습니다. 많은 아이들과 더 가까워졌고, 제가 다녀온 어떤 선교 여행보다 이번에는 아이들과 작별 인사를 하면서 정말 슬펐습니다.또한, 많은 아이들이 아팠다가 회복된 것이 정말 놀라웠지만, 아직도 몸이 완전히 회복되지 않은 학생들도 있습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 우리가 오늘 이 자리에 있을 수 있음에 얼마나 감사한지 모릅니다. 오늘 선교사님(임 선교사님)이 자신의 간증을 나눠주셨는데, 그 중에서도 “복음을 위해서라면 쥐라도 먹을 수 있다”고 하신 말씀이 인상 깊었습니다. 저는 이 선교를 위해 제 모든 에너지를 쏟을 것이고, 아무리 피곤해도 모든 영광은 반드시 하나님께 돌려질 것입니다.” B팀은혜와 눈물의 마무리 B 교회A Grace-Filled and Tearful Ending – Church B미정자매님 ft.“Church B 에서도 복음 선포는 계속됐다. 한 형제님께서 vbs 동안 앉아계시던 자매님들, 고등학생부터 할머니까지 한명 한명 복음을 함께 나누고, 믿음의 고백을 확인하고, 기도제목을 받고, 팀원들이 간절히 함께 기도해주었다. 끝나기 20분 전, 시간이 얼마 안남았지만 그래도, 마지막 남은 어린 아들을 데리고 있는 Belia 자매님과 복음을 나눌때, 이미 믿음이 있으신 자매님임에도 눈물을 흘리시며 복음을 받으셨다. 폴 목사님의 번역을 통해 자세한 기도제목을 받으니 5세 정도 된 큰아들의 틱장애와, 안믿는 남편 위해 기도 부탁을 하셨다. 어려운 일상 가운데, 하나님 온전히 붙들고 예수님의 능력으로 승리하는 삶을 살아가시길, 마음에 성령님의 위로가 임하시길 함께 간절히 기도했다. 그 이후 헤어지는 시간까지 우리 팀원들과 눈만 마주치면 눈물을 글썽글썽하시던 Belia 자매님, 하나님의 따뜻한 사랑과 위로가 조금이라도 전해지길 바라며 꼭 안아드렸다.”Sister Mijung’s Reflection – Church BThe proclamation of the gospel continued at Church B. One of our brothers took the time to sit with each of the women—ranging from high school students to grandmothers—who had been attending the VBS program. He shared the gospel with them one by one, confirmed their confessions of faith, asked for their prayer requests, and our team members joined in to pray fervently with them.Just 20 minutes before we had to leave, there was still one more person we felt led to speak with—Sister Belia, who was sitting with her young son. Even though she was already a believer, when we shared the gospel with her again, she listened with tears in her eyes, receiving the message deeply.Through Pastor Paul’s interpretation, we learned more about her specific prayer needs: her older son, around five years old, is struggling with a tic disorder, and her husband is not yet a believer. We prayed together with urgency and compassion, asking that she would cling to the Lord through the hardships of everyday life, and that she would live a victorious life through the power of Jesus. We also prayed that the comfort of the Holy Spirit would rest on her heart.From that moment until the time we said goodbye, every time Sister Belia made eye contact with one of our team members, her eyes would fill with tears. Even as Christians, the road we walk is not always easy. But we encouraged one another by sharing how we overcome difficulties with faith, and we spent time in intercessory prayer together.At first, I had thought of our 'Gospel Battleship' adult evangelism team as primarily reaching out to unbelievers. But through this mission, God opened another door—one where we could communicate with local parents who are already believers. 대망의 패밀리나잇!몇 분이 오실지도 모르는 상태에서 우리는 한명이 오더라도 그 한마리의 양을 찾으러 가시는 주님을 바라보자는 심령으로 기도하며 준비에 임하였습니다. 그러나 시간이 되었을때 이전 VBS를 통해 친근한 얼굴들과 함께 가족과 새로운 얼굴들이 세미나리로 도착하실때에 그 기쁨과 반가움은 언제나 우리의 기대에 배를 더하시는 주님의 사랑을 더욱 느끼는 시간이였습니다. The Long-Awaited Family Night! We didn’t know how many people would come, but we prepared with hearts fixed on Jesus—the Shepherd who goes after even one lost sheep. We prayed with the mindset that even if only one person came, it would be worth it.But when the time came and familiar faces from previous VBS days began arriving—this time with their families—and new faces followed, our hearts overflowed with joy. As the sanctuary grew warmer and some of the children and attendees began to lose focus, the Lord used the skit to draw their attention back.And when the moment came—when Jesus rose again—cheers and applause erupted throughout the room. It was a powerful reminder that God works beyond language barriers, touching hearts and capturing attention in ways only He can.임지현 자매님 ft "예수 오직 그 이름에 능력있다!!새누리 교회 와서 스킷이라는 짧은 연극을 처음 보았습니다. 성도님들의 연기로 게다가 대사도 없는 그 짧은 예수님의 연극을 보면서 흐르는 눈물을 주체 못 했던 기억이 있습니다.멕시코 선교를 준비하면서 그런 스키을 직접 해 볼 수 있어서 좋았고 연습도 열심히 했습니다. 연습할 때는 그런 울림이 없었는데 오늘 맥시코 손님들 앞에서 그리고 또 아이들 앞에서 예수님의 스토리를 우리가 표현해 내는데 너무 뭉클 했습니다. 오직 예수 그 이름에 능력 있음을. 그 어떤 두려움도 분노도 그 어떤 중독도 오직 예수 그리스도의 능력으로, 그 이름의 능력으로 우리를 자유케하신다는 메세지를 멕시코 손님들과 아이들 앞에서 보여줄 수 있다는 게 너무 너무 기쁘고 영광이었습니다 내일은 drug center 에 갈 것입니다. 우리 나약한 인간들을 옭아메고 있는 그 악한 약에 중독에서 그들이 오직 예수 그 이름으로 자유케 되기를소망합니다. "Sister Jihyun mentioned"Jesus—there is power in His name alone!When I first came to Sanuri Church, I saw a short skit for the first time. It was a silent drama, performed by church members. I still remember how I couldn't hold back my tears as I watched the story of Jesus unfold—without a single spoken word.As we prepared for this Mexico mission, I was so grateful to be part of that same kind of skit. We practiced hard. And though I didn’t feel much emotion during rehearsals, something changed today—when we stood in front of our Mexican guests and the children, and we acted out the story of Jesus together. It moved me deeply.There truly is power in the name of Jesus. No fear, no anger, no addiction—nothing can hold us captive when we stand in the power of Jesus Christ.What a joy and honor it was to share that message through the skit today with our guests and the children in Mexico.Tomorrow, we will visit a drug rehabilitation center. It was a sweet moment of connection and rest.And of course—Brother Dongjun standing faithfully at the kitchen door (maybe guarding it? ????), along with a few local dogs who followed us all the way from the neighborhood! 항상 즐거운 교제의 시간들 Times of fellowship that are always filled with joy훌쩍 커버린 Carla와 보이들~~ 사진은 함께 할수록 즐거운 것!! Carla, who has grown so much, and the boys— The more we’re together, the more joy there is in the photos!이렇게 즐겁고 행복했던 시간들을 뒤로 하며, 하루의 마무리를 지어봅니다. As we wrap up this joyful and happy day, we bring the day to a close.손님들을 다시 모셔다 드리면서 몇몇의 어른 분들은 세미나리로 밤 11시반에 도착하시면서 세미너리 대문이 잠겨있어 건물로 못 들어오시는 경험을 하시며, 세미너리에서 문을 열어보시기 위해 자물쇠키를 가지러 가신동안, 성경구절을 외우셔야 들어오실수 있다고 .. 그렇게 성경구절 암송없이는 식사를 할수 없는 미션의 룰을 적용하며… :) When we escorted our guests back, some of the adults arrived at the seminary around 11:30 PM only to find the gates locked and couldn’t get inside the building.While someone went to fetch the key for the lock, they had to recite a Bible verse to gain entry—a little mission rule that meant no dinner without Bible verse memorization! :) 그렇게 주님이 주신 풍성히 주신 하루를 감사함으로 보냈습니다. 내일도 더욱 주님이 하실 일들이 기대됩니다!! 승주찬!! With grateful hearts, we ended a day abundantly blessed by the Lord.We look forward to all the wonderful things He will do tomorrow!Victory belongs to the Lord!!

Day 4 -  2025 Mexico Mission TripJesús te ama. (Jesus loves you)폭풍과도 같았던 그러나 그 폭풍에서 주님과 동행한 멕시코 미션의 네번째 날이 지나갔습니다. 간밤에 열사병/냉방병으로 두통과 배아품을 호소하는 친구들이 많아, 하루의 시작이 다소 무거웠는데, 하루의 마무리를 하며 돌아보니 하나님의 손길은 여전히 섬세하게 우리 가운데 함께하고 계심을 느끼는 감사만 남는 하루였습니다.The storm-like, yet God-accompanied fourth day of the Mexico Mission has come to an end.The day began on a heavy note, as many of our team members woke up complaining of headaches and stomach pain from heat exhaustion or sudden temperature changes overnight. However, as we closed the day and looked back, our hearts were left only with deep gratitude—because even in the midst of weakness, we could see how intricately and faithfully God was present among us.이번 멕시코 미션에서는 특별히 그 간에 진행하지 않았었던 페밀리나잇이라는 새롭게 시도해보았는데, 3개의 교회에서 VBS 에 오신 어른분들, 노방전도등을 통해 초대된 현지분들과 가족분이 함께 모여 드릴수 있는 수요예배였습니다.  새누리 교회에서는 준비한 아이들과 어른들이 함께 하는 특별 찬양과 폴 목사님의 간증, 그리고 어른팀에서 따로 준비한 스킷이 현지 목사님의 말씀과 함께 예배의 형태로 구성되어진 프로그램이였습니다. 그간의 엄청난 영육간의 공격들은 이 페밀리 나잇을 막기위한 것은 아닌지, 계속되는 주님의 보호하심과 우리 마음의 집중을 위해 지속적을 기도하며 나아가는 하루였습니다. This year, we introduced a new element to our Mexico mission: “Family Night”—a special Wednesday evening worship service we hadn’t tried in previous years. People from the three churches we partnered with, adults who had attended our VBS programs, and many others we met through street evangelism came together with their families for a joint worship service.From Sanuri Church, both youth and adult teams prepared special songs, Pastor Paul shared a testimony, and the adult team presented a gospel skit, all woven together with a message delivered by a local pastor. As we prepared and prayed throughout the day, it became clear: the relentless physical and spiritual attacks we had experienced leading up to this moment were likely attempts to hinder this very night. And yet, the Lord protected and guided us through it all, calling us to keep our hearts focused on Him.페밀리 나잇을 통해, 주님은 하나님께서 그 어떤 우리의 연약함 속에서도 역사하심을, 다시 한번 경험하는 하루였습니다. 어떤 더위에도, 우리의 불평에도, 육적인 영적인 약함에도 주님은 그 약함을 아시고, 그리고 그 약한 또한 사용하셔서 그렇게 주님의 영광을 드러내시는 주님이심을 다시 한번 클리어하게 보여 주셨습니다. 그리고 단 한명의 영혼을 위한 주님의 사랑이 얼마나 크신지를 경험하게 해주셨습니다. 그 뜨거우 현장으로 함께 가보시죠!  Through Family Night, God showed us once again:That He works even through our weakness. That He knows our complaints, our physical and spiritual weariness— and yet still uses us, in all our limitations, to reveal His glory.He made it undeniably clear that His power is made perfect in our weakness. And He reminded us again just how immense His love is for even one single soul.Let’s take you into the heart of that holy and fiery night.VBS 사역3일째 진행된 VBS는 이곳 아이들과의 점점 깊어지는 교제의 시간으로 이끌어 주었습니다. VBS라는 프로그램이 아닌, 이곳의 각각의 영혼들에 깊이 클릭되고, 그들만이 아닌 나 자신도 돌아보며 서로를 향해 기도하며, 이해하려고 할때, 우리의 관계를 통해 주님은 그 사랑을 나와 그분들 사이에 더욱 풍성히 하셨습니다. 3년째 멕시코 선교를 통해 아는 얼굴들이 생기고 그 아이들과 내가 자라나며 이 다음번에 행하실 주님의 역사들이 기대되어졌습니다. 새누리 아이들의 성장, 현지아이들의 성장, 나의 영적인 성장은 다시 한번 주님의 아름다우신 생명의 지으심을 느끼게 해주셨습니다. VBS MinistryNow on our third day of VBS, our time with the local children grew even deeper. It was no longer just a program. These were real, spiritual moments—divine connections between souls. We weren’t just teaching the children; we were learning alongside them, being shaped, humbled, and drawn closer to Christ through each interaction.As we prayed for and with the children, and as we tried to understand one another’s hearts beyond language or culture, the Lord enriched our relationships with His love.This is now the third year of mission for some of us in Mexico, and we’re beginning to see familiar faces. We've watched these children grow—and in that growth, we see the seeds of God’s life taking root and flourishing. It makes us long to return again, trusting that the Lord is not done yet.Watching the growth of our Sanuri youth, the growth of the local children, and even our own spiritual growth, we were once again reminded of the beautiful way God crafts and gives life—in His time, in His way, for His glory.A팀B팀진영자매님 ft. “미카엘라는 손에 사마귀 같은게 많이 났고 몸무게가 10킬로 이상 빠졌지만 어떤부분은보험이 커버가 되지않아 정확히 치료가 되지않아 안타깝다. 어른들은 같이 기도했고 가스펠 나잇 또 참석했다. ““Evion(노랑옷) 은 하나님을 믿지만 방향을 lost한거 같아 하나님께서 clarity를 주셨으면 한다고 했고 같이 기도했다. 그녀의 눈이 눈물이 가득했다.  서로 격려하며 기도할때 하나님의 일하심을 느낄수 있었다. “ , “Mikaela has developed many wart-like growths on her hands and has lost over 10 kilograms. Sadly, her condition hasn’t been properly treated because parts of the treatment are not covered by her insurance. We were heartbroken over this. The adults gathered to pray for her, and she also attended the Gospel Night again.”“Evion (in the yellow shirt) said she believes in God but feels like she’s lost her direction. She asked that God would bring her clarity, and we prayed together. Her eyes were full of tears. As we encouraged one another and prayed together, we could truly feel God at work.”C팀 새누리 아이들은 아이들 대로, 어른들은 어른들 대로 다양한 통로로 주님의 복음과 사랑을 그렇네 나누어지고 있습니다. The Sanuri youth and adults are each becoming vessels of the Gospel and God’s love, sharing it through various paths.페인트사역페인드 사역이 드디어 마무리 되는 날이였습니다. 주님의 예비하심으로 인해 더운 날씨로 더 어려울수 있던 사역이 저희의 예상보다 더 빨리 잘 마무리 되었습니다. 일을 하는 아이들의 얼굴에서는 무더운 날씨 속에서도 짜증보다는 기쁨과 웃음이 가득했습니다. 어른으로 어떻게 이걸 마무리할까를 플랜하고 걱정하는 제 모습속에서 주님에 온전히 의지하고 하나님께서 이끌어 주시고 마무리 해주시겠지를 온전히 의지하는게 저런 모습일까를 생각해보는 시간이였습니다. Painting Ministry Today marked the final day of our painting ministry. Thanks to the Lord’s provision, what could have been a difficult task in the scorching heat was completed more quickly and smoothly than we expected.Even in the intense heat, the faces of the children who were working were filled not with complaints, but with joy and laughter.As an adult, I found myself planning and worrying about how to finish the project, but watching the children, I was reminded of what it looks like to fully rely on the Lord—trusting that He would lead us and complete the work.
