Day 6 -  2025 Mexico Mission Trip2025 멕시코 선교 사진 앨범 (2025 Mexico Mission Album) - 2000+ photos2025년 선교보고서(2025 Mexico Mission Trip Daily Report)Adiós por ahora (Goodbye for now)오늘은 드럭 재활 센터(Drug Rehab Center) 방문으로멕시칼리 선교의 마지막 하루를 열었습니다.차에서 내려 철문을 지나며 문득, 작년의 기억이 떠올랐습니다.처음 그곳을 방문했을 때 느꼈던 긴장감,팔에 선명했던 주사 자국들,어디를 향하는지 알 수 없었던 텅 빈 눈빛들,그 속에서 두려움을 감추지 못했던 제 자신이 생각났습니다.하지만 그곳을 나올 때,그 어두움 가운데에도 여전히 역사하시고그 누구보다 이곳의 영혼들을 사랑하시는 하나님의 마음이 느껴졌습니다.그래서인지 이번 방문은 두려움보다는하나님께서 이번에도 어떤 일을 이루실지에 대한 기대감으로 가득했습니다.특히나 이번 방문에는 어덜트 스킷도 예정되어 있었는데, 군호형제님의 부상으로 인해 급하게 한번도 연기를 해보지 못한 하영형제가 투입되면서, 우리가 한 마음으로 잘 맞춰서 스킷을 할수 있을지, 여러 걱정이 마음 한켠에 남아있었습니다. 그러나 주님의 예비하심은 한치의 실수도 부족함도 없으셔서, 우리의 부족함도 들어쓰시는 주님을 보았습니다. 스킷을 보며, 많은 그곳의 분들은 눈물을 흘리셨고, 서비스가 다 끝나고, 우리에게 찬양를 불러주며 그렇게 주님이 주시는 감동에 대답해 주었습니다. Today, we began the final day of our Mexicali mission by visiting the Drug Rehabilitation Center. As we got off the van and walked past the iron gate, memories from last year came rushing back. I remembered the tension I felt during my first visit there — the visible needle marks on their arms, the empty stares that seemed to have lost all direction, and the fear I had tried to hide within myself.But I also remembered walking out of that place with a strong sense of God's presence — that even in such darkness, He is at work, and that He deeply loves each and every soul in that place. So this time, I didn’t feel fear, but rather a sense of expectation, wondering what God would do this time.One unique part of this visit was that we had planned to perform a skit about addiction, prepared by the adults in our team. However, due to an injury that kept Gunho from performing, Hayoung — who had never acted in the skit before — had to step in last minute. Naturally, there were concerns: Would we be able to perform it well as one team, especially with such little time to adjust?But once again, God showed us that His preparations are perfect. There was not a single mistake or lacking part — through our weaknesses, God worked powerfully.As we performed the skit, many of the men at the center were moved to tears. After the service, they responded by singing a song back to us — a song of praise, a response from their hearts to the deep stirring that only God can bring.We witnessed once again how God uses even our limitations to bring about His glory.언제나 기도로 시작Always starting with prayer  드럭 리햅 센터에서 작년에 보았던 심각한 상태의 여자분은 안타깝게도 너무 상태가 심해 우리랑 만날수 없는 상태라는 이야기에 마음이 아팠습니다. 정말 주님 없이는 저도 이런 분들과 똑같은 상황일거라는 생각에 감사하면서도 그분들을 향한 하나님의 안타까운 사랑의 마음 또한 느껴졌습니다. At the rehab center, I heard that one of the women I remembered from last year — someone who had been in a very serious condition — was now in such a critical state that she could not meet with us. My heart ached at the news. It reminded me that if it weren’t for the grace of Jesus in my own life, I could easily be in the same place as her. I was filled with gratitude for God’s saving grace, but also deeply moved by God’s aching love for each soul in that place, especially for those who are still suffering.

C팀전도 폭팔!!! 주님의 강한 부으심! An Explosion of Evangelism — The Lord’s Mighty Outpouring Was Tangibly Felt!C팀에서 이뤄진 히치하이킹 전도이번 멕시코 선교는 정말로 하나님이 준비하신 뜻밖의 축복들과 열린 문들의 축제 같았습니다. 우리가 미처 계획하지 못했던 순간마다 주님께서 길을 예비해 주셨음을 매번 경험했습니다.그중에서도 특별한 순간은 바로 **C팀에서 자발적으로 이뤄진 ‘히치하이킹 전도’**였습니다. 우리 형제자매들은 지나가는 차들을 향해 손을 흔들고 멈춰 세우며, 차에 탄 사람들과 운전자에게 복음을 전했습니다.그들의 담대함과 영혼을 향한 뜨거운 사랑은 보는 이들의 마음을 깊이 울렸고, 우리 자신을 다시 돌아보게 했습니다. 이 장면은 분명히 보여주었습니다 — 믿음으로 한 걸음 내딛을 때, 하나님은 우리의 상상을 뛰어넘는 기회의 문을 여신다는 사실을.Hitchhiking Evangelism – Team CThis mission trip truly felt like a celebration of divine surprises—a festival of open doors that the Lord prepared for us at every step, even when we hadn’t planned them ourselves.One powerful example was the spontaneous “hitchhiking evangelism” by Team C. With boldness and love, our brothers and sisters reached out to cars passing by—waving them down and sharing the gospel with drivers and passengers alike.Watching their passion and unwavering love for souls was deeply moving and challenged our own hearts. It was a vivid reminder that when we step out in faith, God creates opportunities far beyond our imagination.백진영자매님 ft. “Team C에서 안의 성도들에겐 다 전했고 한형제님께서 바깥에 한자매가 울며 전화한다고 해서 어른복음의 전함팀이라 볼수 있는 두명의 형제 자매는 밖에 나가서 전하게 됐다. 그게 하나님이 다른길을 열개 하는것의 시작임. 히치하이킹팀으로 변함. 우리가 올라하며 외칠때 사람들이 설수 있다는걸 알았고 경계심을 풀고 차를 세웠고 스페니시를 조금 할줄아는 형제님이 사영리로 복음을 전하고 다른 자매는 chat got와 구글트랜스레일을 사용해서 기도제목 및 전에 교회 다녔는지 아주 처음 듣는것인지 물으며 팀으로 협력함이 감사. 5차가 섰고 복음이 전해짐. 그중에 만난 많은 영혼들중에 교회다닌사람도 있었지만 그중에 인상깊은것은 알렉산으로와 오스카였다. 둘다 처음 예수님에 대해 들었고 예수님을 믿겠다 함. 두분을 현지 교회 목사님께 연결했고 전화번호를 받음. 나중엔 다른 형제님들도 나오셔서 같이 기도하였음. 하나님이 재미있게 역사하심에 감사함과 찬양드림”Sister Jinyoung Baek ft.“Team C shared the gospel with the people inside the church, but then a brother informed us that a sister outside was crying and trying to call for help. So, two members from the adult evangelism team went outside to minister to her. This marked the beginning of God opening a new path for us.The team quickly transformed into a hitchhiking evangelism group. When we began to lift our voices and proclaim the gospel, people stopped and lowered their guard. A brother who spoke some Spanish shared the gospel verbally, while another sister used ChatGPT and Google Translate to communicate, asking about prayer requests and whether they had attended church before or if it was their first time hearing the gospel. Their teamwork was a blessing.We stopped five vehicles and shared the gospel with many souls. Among those we met, some had been to church before, but the most memorable were two men named Alexandro and Oscar. Both had never heard about Jesus before and declared their faith in Him.We connected them with the local church pastor and received their phone numbers. Later, other brothers joined us, and we prayed together. We are grateful and praise God for how wonderfully and joyfully He is working through this mission.” 휴식, 교제, 나눔, 봉사VBS 가 끝나고, 세미너리로 돌아와, 어떤 그룹은 내일 드럭 센터 방문을 위한 준비, 어떤 팀은 청소를 담당하고, 어떤팀은 교제의 기쁨을, 또 어떤 팀은 쉼의 시간을 보냈습니다. Rest, Fellowship, Sharing, and Service After VBS ended, we returned to the seminary where different groups spent the afternoon in various meaningful ways. Some prepared for tomorrow’s visit to the drug rehabilitation center, others took charge of cleaning duties, some enjoyed the joy of fellowship, and others took time to rest and recharge.VBS의 마지막 날 사역을 마치고, 우리 팀은 다시 세미너리로 돌아왔습니다. 하루하루가 치열했던 선교 일정 가운데, 오늘 오후는 조금 더 여유롭고 따뜻한 쉼의 시간이었습니다. 하나님의 은혜로 각자에게 필요한 방식으로 하루를 마무리할 수 있었던 시간—그 자체가 참 소중했습니다.어떤 팀은 내일 예정되어 있는 드럭 센터 방문 사역을 준비하며, 기도하고, 마음을 다잡는 시간을 가졌습니다. 특히나, 스킷팀 군호형제님의 부상으로 인해 하영형제가 도움의 손길을 주었고, 이 모든 과정들에서 강한 성령의 이끌림을 체험할수 있었습니다.또 다른 그룹은 세미너리의 청소와 정리정돈을 맡아, 묵묵히 섬김의 손길을 더해주었습니다. 누군가에게는 작고 단순한 일이었을지 모르지만, 그 헌신과 땀방울 속에서도 주님을 향한 사랑이 있으리라 믿습니다. 또 어떤 친구들은 오랜만에 주어진 여유 속에서 진심 어린 교제의 시간을 누렸습니다.찬양하며, 서로의 이야기를 듣고, 웃고, 함께한 지난 시간들을 돌아보며, 우리 공동체가 얼마나 귀한지를 다시 한번 느끼는 시간이였음을 믿습니다. 또 그간 컨디션이 좋지 않은 팀원들도 충분히 쉼의 시간을 가지고 있어 주님은 우리가 일할 때뿐 아니라 쉴 때에도 역사하시고 예비하시는 분임을 알려주셨습니다.After completing the final day of VBS ministry, our team returned to the seminary. Amidst the intense and busy schedule of the mission trip, this afternoon was a much-needed time of rest and warmth. It was a precious moment where each person could end the day in the way they needed, all by God’s grace.Some groups spent this time preparing and praying for tomorrow’s visit to the drug rehabilitation center. Notably, due to Brother Gunho’s injury on the skit team, Brother Hayoung stepped in to help, and throughout this process, we experienced the powerful guidance of the Holy Spirit.Another group took on the cleaning and organizing of the seminary, serving quietly and diligently. Though it may have seemed like a small or simple task to some, we believe that in every drop of sweat and every act of devotion, there was deep love for the Lord.Meanwhile, some friends enjoyed heartfelt fellowship during this rare moment of leisure. We praised together, listened to each other’s stories, laughed, and reflected on the time we have shared—reminding ourselves once again how precious our community is.Also, team members who had been feeling unwell were able to take sufficient rest, reminding us that the Lord is at work not only when we labor but also when we rest, preparing and sustaining us in every season.\ Taco Thursday!!! 타코 목요일!세미너리에서 미니 타고스탠드를 준비해주셨습니다!!세미너리에서 준비해준 식사는 항상 너무 맛있어서 우리가 성경암송을 외워야만 하는 또 다른 좋은 모티베이션을 줬습니다. 오늘의 성경암송은 헷갈리고 어려웠지만, 지금처럼 빨리 타코를 먹기위해 빨리 시험에 나간적이 없었던것 같습니다, ㅎㅎ 모두 성공!! 이제 음식에 집중해 봅니다!The seminary kindly prepared a mini taco stand for us!The meals they provide are always so delicious that they give us another great motivation to memorize Bible verses.Today’s Bible verse was tricky and confusing, but I don’t think we’ve ever rushed so much through the recitation just to get to the tacos faster, haha.Everyone succeeded! Now it’s time to focus on the food!모두의 얼굴엔 웃음 꽃이 핍니다!Everyone’s faces are blooming with smiles!맛있는 식사후 영적인 양식 또한! 세미너리 선교사님의 32년 사역을 들으며 선교사님의 삶을 통해 주님만이 일하시고 “Only Jesus” 라는 진리를 붙잡고 나아가신 주님의 역사를 되집어 보는 시간을 가졌습니다. 정말 죽음의 문턱을 여러번 넘기신 선교사님의 간증 - 특히나 우리아이들이 엄청난 반응을 보였던 한 부족의 존경하는 문화였던- 쥐를 먹는 장면들은 우리 아이들에게 비명과 함께 그러나 큰 도전을 주었으리라 믿습니다.  마지막으로 선교사님 부부를 위해 다같이 중보하며 주님의 임재하심을 역사하심에 믿음으로 나아갑니다. 그렇게 아쉬운 하루가 지나갑니다. After a delicious meal, we also received spiritual nourishment!We listened to the story of the missionary’s 32 years of service at the seminary and took time to reflect on how the Lord alone has been working through the missionary’s life, holding firmly to the truth of "Only Jesus."The missionary’s testimony, including multiple near-death experiences, deeply moved us—especially the story about a tribe’s respected cultural practice of eating rats, which elicited screams but also became a powerful challenge for our children.Finally, we all prayed together in intercession for the missionary couple, stepping forward in faith trusting in the Lord’s presence and work.Thus, the day came to a bittersweet close.

2025 Mexico Mission Trip Daily ReportDay 5 -  2025 Mexico Mission Trip2025 멕시코 선교 사진 앨범 (2025 Mexico Mission Album) - 2000+ photos2025년 선교보고서(2025 Mexico Mission Trip Daily Report) Abre mis ojos (Open my eyes)멕시칼리.. 어느덧 선교의 다섯째 날이라는 사실이 다만 아쉽고, 순간순간이 더욱 소중한 하루였습니다.  오늘은 VBS사역을 마무리 하며, 감사하게도 먼저 마무리 된 페인팅 사역으로, 컨디션이 안좋았던 아이들이 많았던 상황에서 잠시나마 여유로운 단비같은 휴식도 취할수 있었습니다.그 시간동안 신학교 건물을 청소하며, 제 정비 하며 하나님께서 허락하신 많은 은혜들을 다시한번 생각해보는 시간들을 가질수 있었습니다. 또한 휴식동안 새누리 아이들과 신학교 근처에 살고 있는 지역 아이들이 놀러와서 함께 축구를 즐기며 언어를 뛰어 넘는 형제안에 아름다운 교제를 나누는 시간도 가질수 있었습니다. 오늘은 마지막 VBS의 시간들도 나누며, 또한 멕시코 선교팀들의 형제,자매, 그리고 아이들의 간증의 순간들도 나누려고 합니다. Stay tuned! Mexicali... Already the fifth day of our mission trip—it's hard to believe. The realization that our time here is coming to an end brings a sense of sadness, making each moment we have left feel even more precious and meaningful.Today, we wrapped up our VBS ministry. Thankfully, since the painting project was completed earlier than expected, many of our team members—especially those who were feeling physically unwell—were able to experience a refreshing moment of rest, like rain in the desert.During this quiet break, we took the opportunity to clean and organize the seminary building, and in doing so, reflect once again on the countless blessings God has poured out over us throughout this mission.In addition, during our rest time, several local children from the neighborhood near the seminary came to visit. Our Saenuri kids were able to spend time playing soccer with them, enjoying joyful fellowship that transcended language barriers and reminded us again of the beauty of being one family in Christ.Later today, we will also be sharing reflections from the final day of VBS, along with powerful testimonies from our brothers, sisters, and even children who are part of this mission team. VBS의 시작은 언제나 기도와 함께! 주님이 일하기시를 기도합니다. VBS Ministry – Final DayTeam A In a barren, desolate neighborhood where there seems to be nothing, the presence of the Lord’s church stood out like a spring of life in the desert. It reminded us that even in the driest places, God plants His sanctuary of hope.As always, the start of VBS began with prayer—because we know that it is not by our strength, but by His Spirit that hearts are moved. We prayed earnestly that the Lord would go before us and work powerfully among the children and families we would meet. 언제나 VBS의 시작은 기도로 주님께 온전히 의지합니다. As always, we begin VBS with prayer, fully relying on the Lord.A 교회에서는 특별한 순간이 또한 이루어졌습니다. 어제 패밀리 나잇에서 특별찬양으로 드렸던 Abre mis ojos (Open my eyes) 를 주님이 즉흥적으로 찬양하라는 마음을 주셨고, A 교회에서 있는 목회자 자녀 2명의 드럼과 보컬, Jessie의 드럼연주와 함께 전 VBS에 참여한 모든 사람들이 찬양했습니다. 정말 주님께서 언어나 문화를 뛰어넘어 하나의 마음으로 하나의 목소리로 모아주는 너무나도 소중한 순간이였습니다.A very special moment also took place at Church A. During the VBS program, the Lord impressed upon our hearts—spontaneously and powerfully—to sing “Abre mis ojos” (Open My Eyes) once more, a song we had offered as a special praise during Family Night.Two pastor’s children from the local church joined in, one playing drums and the other singing, and Jessie from our team also accompanied on the drums. Together, everyone who participated in VBS lifted their voices in worship.It was a deeply moving moment—a glimpse of heaven—as the Lord brought together hearts and voices beyond language and culture, uniting us as one in praise.  From Sean (Our NCBC Youth) “Hello! Today is Thursday, and we had our last day of VBS. For me, and the others in Church A, I believe we had a successful last day. What defines a successful VBS? It’s not how fun the crafts and games were, or how entertaining the skit and praise were. I think, at its core, it’s obedience to the Lord. I’m so amazed at how God worked with the kids despite our last-minute prep and our broken Spanish. I got closer to so many kids and, for the first time in any mission trip I’ve been on, I was so sad to say adiós.Moreover, a lot of kids recovered from sickness, which is amazing, but there are still some students not feeling quite right. Yet, how blessed we are to be here today. Missionary Lim shared his testimony today, and one thing he said that stood out to me was, “I am willing to do anything, even eat rats, if it means for the gospel.” I will spend every bit of my energy for this mission, no matter how tired I am, because all the glory must and will go to God.”NCBC Youth Sean’s update안녕하세요! 오늘은 목요일이고, 우리는 VBS(어린이 성경학교) 마지막 날을 보냈습니다. 저와 Church A의 다른 팀원들에게 오늘은 정말 성공적인 마지막 날이었다고 생각합니다. 성공적인 VBS란 무엇일까요? 공예나 게임이 얼마나 재미있었는지, 연극과 찬양이 얼마나 흥미로웠는지가 아니라, 그 본질은 주님께 순종하는 것이라고 생각합니다.우리의 급한 준비와 서툰 스페인어에도 불구하고 하나님께서 아이들과 함께 일하시는 모습을 보고 정말 놀랐습니다. 많은 아이들과 더 가까워졌고, 제가 다녀온 어떤 선교 여행보다 이번에는 아이들과 작별 인사를 하면서 정말 슬펐습니다.또한, 많은 아이들이 아팠다가 회복된 것이 정말 놀라웠지만, 아직도 몸이 완전히 회복되지 않은 학생들도 있습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 우리가 오늘 이 자리에 있을 수 있음에 얼마나 감사한지 모릅니다. 오늘 선교사님(임 선교사님)이 자신의 간증을 나눠주셨는데, 그 중에서도 “복음을 위해서라면 쥐라도 먹을 수 있다”고 하신 말씀이 인상 깊었습니다. 저는 이 선교를 위해 제 모든 에너지를 쏟을 것이고, 아무리 피곤해도 모든 영광은 반드시 하나님께 돌려질 것입니다.” B팀은혜와 눈물의 마무리 B 교회A Grace-Filled and Tearful Ending – Church B미정자매님 ft.“Church B 에서도 복음 선포는 계속됐다. 한 형제님께서 vbs 동안 앉아계시던 자매님들, 고등학생부터 할머니까지 한명 한명 복음을 함께 나누고, 믿음의 고백을 확인하고, 기도제목을 받고, 팀원들이 간절히 함께 기도해주었다. 끝나기 20분 전, 시간이 얼마 안남았지만 그래도, 마지막 남은 어린 아들을 데리고 있는 Belia 자매님과 복음을 나눌때, 이미 믿음이 있으신 자매님임에도 눈물을 흘리시며 복음을 받으셨다. 폴 목사님의 번역을 통해 자세한 기도제목을 받으니 5세 정도 된 큰아들의 틱장애와, 안믿는 남편 위해 기도 부탁을 하셨다. 어려운 일상 가운데, 하나님 온전히 붙들고 예수님의 능력으로 승리하는 삶을 살아가시길, 마음에 성령님의 위로가 임하시길 함께 간절히 기도했다. 그 이후 헤어지는 시간까지 우리 팀원들과 눈만 마주치면 눈물을 글썽글썽하시던 Belia 자매님, 하나님의 따뜻한 사랑과 위로가 조금이라도 전해지길 바라며 꼭 안아드렸다.”Sister Mijung’s Reflection – Church BThe proclamation of the gospel continued at Church B. One of our brothers took the time to sit with each of the women—ranging from high school students to grandmothers—who had been attending the VBS program. He shared the gospel with them one by one, confirmed their confessions of faith, asked for their prayer requests, and our team members joined in to pray fervently with them.Just 20 minutes before we had to leave, there was still one more person we felt led to speak with—Sister Belia, who was sitting with her young son. Even though she was already a believer, when we shared the gospel with her again, she listened with tears in her eyes, receiving the message deeply.Through Pastor Paul’s interpretation, we learned more about her specific prayer needs: her older son, around five years old, is struggling with a tic disorder, and her husband is not yet a believer. We prayed together with urgency and compassion, asking that she would cling to the Lord through the hardships of everyday life, and that she would live a victorious life through the power of Jesus. We also prayed that the comfort of the Holy Spirit would rest on her heart.From that moment until the time we said goodbye, every time Sister Belia made eye contact with one of our team members, her eyes would fill with tears. We embraced her tightly, hoping that even just a small portion of God’s warm love and comfort had been passed on to her through us. 백진영 자매님 ft.“영어를 잘하는 릴리아나는 19살때 미국에서 8개월 살았다고 했고 다른교회에서 섬기는데 딸의 classmate이 여기 VBS 얘기해서 왔다고 했다. 아들이 보통아이들과 다른 어려움을 갖고있어서 그것과 관련 어려움을 나누었고 크리스챤이라도 힘든길을 걸어나가지만 어떻게 극복하는지 서로 나누었고 중보했다. 믿지않는 사람들을 위한 전도로 준비했던 어른들 복음의 전함팀(gospel battleship) 생각했지만 이번 미션은 현지 부모님들과의 소통을 통해 믿는자들가운데서도 현지 성도들을 격려하고 그들의 아픔과 슬픔을 나누며 주안에서 바로 서는것에 대해서도 길을 열어주셨다.”Sister Jinyoung Baek ft."Liliana, who speaks English well, shared that she had lived in the U.S. for eight months when she was 19. Though she usually serves at another church, she came to our VBS because her daughter’s classmate had told her about it.She opened up about some of the challenges she faces with her son, who has special needs, and we were able to share deeply about those struggles. Even as Christians, the road we walk is not always easy. But we encouraged one another by sharing how we overcome difficulties with faith, and we spent time in intercessory prayer together.At first, I had thought of our 'Gospel Battleship' adult evangelism team as primarily reaching out to unbelievers. But through this mission, God opened another door—one where we could communicate with local parents who are already believers. 대망의 패밀리나잇!몇 분이 오실지도 모르는 상태에서 우리는 한명이 오더라도 그 한마리의 양을 찾으러 가시는 주님을 바라보자는 심령으로 기도하며 준비에 임하였습니다. 그러나 시간이 되었을때 이전 VBS를 통해 친근한 얼굴들과 함께 가족과 새로운 얼굴들이 세미나리로 도착하실때에 그 기쁨과 반가움은 언제나 우리의 기대에 배를 더하시는 주님의 사랑을 더욱 느끼는 시간이였습니다. The Long-Awaited Family Night! We didn’t know how many people would come, but we prepared with hearts fixed on Jesus—the Shepherd who goes after even one lost sheep. We prayed with the mindset that even if only one person came, it would be worth it.But when the time came and familiar faces from previous VBS days began arriving—this time with their families—and new faces followed, our hearts overflowed with joy. It was a powerful reminder that God’s love always exceeds our expectations.첫 방문자!! First visitor더웠던 예배당은 주님의 양들로 가득 채워졌습니다!! The warm, crowded sanctuary overflowed with the Lord’s precious sheep!함께 한 특별찬양 (리허설 모습)Special worship song together (rehearsal moment)폴목사님의 간증과 번역으로 도와주시고 계신 TJ 형제님 Pastor Paul’s testimony, with Brother TJ assisting with translation어덜트 스킷팀 : 멕시코에서 처음으로 시도되고 진행된 어른이 참여했던 프로그램이였습니다. 페밀리 나잇에 온 현지 아이들고 참여자들이 더운 예배당과 또 흥미가 떨어졌을때 스킷을 통해 주님은 그들의 집중을 모아주셨고, 스킷중에서 예수님이 부활하시며 살아나시는 곳에서는 정말 함성과 박수가 텨저 나왔습니다. 주님은 그렇게 언어 장벽을 뛰어넘어 일 하심니다. Adult Skit Team This was the first time we attempted and presented a skit performed by adults during our mission in Mexico. As the sanctuary grew warmer and some of the children and attendees began to lose focus, the Lord used the skit to draw their attention back.And when the moment came—when Jesus rose again—cheers and applause erupted throughout the room. It was a powerful reminder that God works beyond language barriers, touching hearts and capturing attention in ways only He can.임지현 자매님 ft "예수 오직 그 이름에 능력있다!!새누리 교회 와서 스킷이라는 짧은 연극을 처음 보았습니다. 성도님들의 연기로 게다가 대사도 없는 그 짧은 예수님의 연극을 보면서 흐르는 눈물을 주체 못 했던 기억이 있습니다.멕시코 선교를 준비하면서 그런 스키을 직접 해 볼 수 있어서 좋았고 연습도 열심히 했습니다. 연습할 때는 그런 울림이 없었는데 오늘 맥시코 손님들 앞에서 그리고 또 아이들 앞에서 예수님의 스토리를 우리가 표현해 내는데 너무 뭉클 했습니다. 오직 예수 그 이름에 능력 있음을. 그 어떤 두려움도 분노도 그 어떤 중독도 오직 예수 그리스도의 능력으로, 그 이름의 능력으로 우리를 자유케하신다는 메세지를 멕시코 손님들과 아이들 앞에서 보여줄 수 있다는 게 너무 너무 기쁘고 영광이었습니다 내일은 drug center 에 갈 것입니다. 우리 나약한 인간들을 옭아메고 있는 그 악한 약에 중독에서 그들이 오직 예수 그 이름으로 자유케 되기를소망합니다. "Sister Jihyun mentioned"Jesus—there is power in His name alone!When I first came to Sanuri Church, I saw a short skit for the first time. It was a silent drama, performed by church members. I still remember how I couldn't hold back my tears as I watched the story of Jesus unfold—without a single spoken word.As we prepared for this Mexico mission, I was so grateful to be part of that same kind of skit. We practiced hard. And though I didn’t feel much emotion during rehearsals, something changed today—when we stood in front of our Mexican guests and the children, and we acted out the story of Jesus together. It moved me deeply.There truly is power in the name of Jesus. No fear, no anger, no addiction—nothing can hold us captive when we stand in the power of Jesus Christ.What a joy and honor it was to share that message through the skit today with our guests and the children in Mexico.Tomorrow, we will visit a drug rehabilitation center. My prayer is that those bound by addiction—the evil grip of drugs—would be set free in the name of Jesus, the only name that has the power to save and deliver.현지 목사님의 인도와 안수기도 시간A Time of Blessing and Prayer with the Local Pastor After the service, the local pastor led us in a powerful time of anointing prayer and blessing.예배가 끝나고 시작된 교제의 시간호메이트 타말레스오 함께 했던 행복한 시간이였습니다!키친문을 지키고(?) 계신 동준형제님과 멕시코 현지분을 쫒아온 강아지들 ????Fellowship Time After Worship After the service, we enjoyed a joyful time of fellowship over homemade tamales! It was a sweet moment of connection and rest.And of course—Brother Dongjun standing faithfully at the kitchen door (maybe guarding it? ????), along with a few local dogs who followed us all the way from the neighborhood! 항상 즐거운 교제의 시간들 Times of fellowship that are always filled with joy훌쩍 커버린 Carla와 보이들~~ 사진은 함께 할수록 즐거운 것!! Carla, who has grown so much, and the boys— The more we’re together, the more joy there is in the photos!이렇게 즐겁고 행복했던 시간들을 뒤로 하며, 하루의 마무리를 지어봅니다. As we wrap up this joyful and happy day, we bring the day to a close.손님들을 다시 모셔다 드리면서 몇몇의 어른 분들은 세미나리로 밤 11시반에 도착하시면서 세미너리 대문이 잠겨있어 건물로 못 들어오시는 경험을 하시며, 세미너리에서 문을 열어보시기 위해 자물쇠키를 가지러 가신동안, 성경구절을 외우셔야 들어오실수 있다고 .. 그렇게 성경구절 암송없이는 식사를 할수 없는 미션의 룰을 적용하며… :) When we escorted our guests back, some of the adults arrived at the seminary around 11:30 PM only to find the gates locked and couldn’t get inside the building.While someone went to fetch the key for the lock, they had to recite a Bible verse to gain entry—a little mission rule that meant no dinner without Bible verse memorization! :) 그렇게 주님이 주신 풍성히 주신 하루를 감사함으로 보냈습니다. 내일도 더욱 주님이 하실 일들이 기대됩니다!! 승주찬!! With grateful hearts, we ended a day abundantly blessed by the Lord.We look forward to all the wonderful things He will do tomorrow!Victory belongs to the Lord!!

Day 4 -  2025 Mexico Mission TripJesús te ama. (Jesus loves you)폭풍과도 같았던 그러나 그 폭풍에서 주님과 동행한 멕시코 미션의 네번째 날이 지나갔습니다. 간밤에 열사병/냉방병으로 두통과 배아품을 호소하는 친구들이 많아, 하루의 시작이 다소 무거웠는데, 하루의 마무리를 하며 돌아보니 하나님의 손길은 여전히 섬세하게 우리 가운데 함께하고 계심을 느끼는 감사만 남는 하루였습니다.The storm-like, yet God-accompanied fourth day of the Mexico Mission has come to an end.The day began on a heavy note, as many of our team members woke up complaining of headaches and stomach pain from heat exhaustion or sudden temperature changes overnight. However, as we closed the day and looked back, our hearts were left only with deep gratitude—because even in the midst of weakness, we could see how intricately and faithfully God was present among us.이번 멕시코 미션에서는 특별히 그 간에 진행하지 않았었던 페밀리나잇이라는 새롭게 시도해보았는데, 3개의 교회에서 VBS 에 오신 어른분들, 노방전도등을 통해 초대된 현지분들과 가족분이 함께 모여 드릴수 있는 수요예배였습니다.  새누리 교회에서는 준비한 아이들과 어른들이 함께 하는 특별 찬양과 폴 목사님의 간증, 그리고 어른팀에서 따로 준비한 스킷이 현지 목사님의 말씀과 함께 예배의 형태로 구성되어진 프로그램이였습니다. 그간의 엄청난 영육간의 공격들은 이 페밀리 나잇을 막기위한 것은 아닌지, 계속되는 주님의 보호하심과 우리 마음의 집중을 위해 지속적을 기도하며 나아가는 하루였습니다. This year, we introduced a new element to our Mexico mission: “Family Night”—a special Wednesday evening worship service we hadn’t tried in previous years. People from the three churches we partnered with, adults who had attended our VBS programs, and many others we met through street evangelism came together with their families for a joint worship service.From Sanuri Church, both youth and adult teams prepared special songs, Pastor Paul shared a testimony, and the adult team presented a gospel skit, all woven together with a message delivered by a local pastor. As we prepared and prayed throughout the day, it became clear: the relentless physical and spiritual attacks we had experienced leading up to this moment were likely attempts to hinder this very night. And yet, the Lord protected and guided us through it all, calling us to keep our hearts focused on Him.페밀리 나잇을 통해, 주님은 하나님께서 그 어떤 우리의 연약함 속에서도 역사하심을, 다시 한번 경험하는 하루였습니다. 어떤 더위에도, 우리의 불평에도, 육적인 영적인 약함에도 주님은 그 약함을 아시고, 그리고 그 약한 또한 사용하셔서 그렇게 주님의 영광을 드러내시는 주님이심을 다시 한번 클리어하게 보여 주셨습니다. 그리고 단 한명의 영혼을 위한 주님의 사랑이 얼마나 크신지를 경험하게 해주셨습니다. 그 뜨거우 현장으로 함께 가보시죠!  Through Family Night, God showed us once again:That He works even through our weakness. That He knows our complaints, our physical and spiritual weariness— and yet still uses us, in all our limitations, to reveal His glory.He made it undeniably clear that His power is made perfect in our weakness. And He reminded us again just how immense His love is for even one single soul.Let’s take you into the heart of that holy and fiery night.VBS 사역3일째 진행된 VBS는 이곳 아이들과의 점점 깊어지는 교제의 시간으로 이끌어 주었습니다. VBS라는 프로그램이 아닌, 이곳의 각각의 영혼들에 깊이 클릭되고, 그들만이 아닌 나 자신도 돌아보며 서로를 향해 기도하며, 이해하려고 할때, 우리의 관계를 통해 주님은 그 사랑을 나와 그분들 사이에 더욱 풍성히 하셨습니다. 3년째 멕시코 선교를 통해 아는 얼굴들이 생기고 그 아이들과 내가 자라나며 이 다음번에 행하실 주님의 역사들이 기대되어졌습니다. 새누리 아이들의 성장, 현지아이들의 성장, 나의 영적인 성장은 다시 한번 주님의 아름다우신 생명의 지으심을 느끼게 해주셨습니다. VBS MinistryNow on our third day of VBS, our time with the local children grew even deeper. It was no longer just a program. These were real, spiritual moments—divine connections between souls. We weren’t just teaching the children; we were learning alongside them, being shaped, humbled, and drawn closer to Christ through each interaction.As we prayed for and with the children, and as we tried to understand one another’s hearts beyond language or culture, the Lord enriched our relationships with His love.This is now the third year of mission for some of us in Mexico, and we’re beginning to see familiar faces. We've watched these children grow—and in that growth, we see the seeds of God’s life taking root and flourishing. It makes us long to return again, trusting that the Lord is not done yet.Watching the growth of our Sanuri youth, the growth of the local children, and even our own spiritual growth, we were once again reminded of the beautiful way God crafts and gives life—in His time, in His way, for His glory.A팀B팀진영자매님 ft. “미카엘라는 손에 사마귀 같은게 많이 났고 몸무게가 10킬로 이상 빠졌지만 어떤부분은보험이 커버가 되지않아 정확히 치료가 되지않아 안타깝다. 어른들은 같이 기도했고 가스펠 나잇 또 참석했다. ““Evion(노랑옷) 은 하나님을 믿지만 방향을 lost한거 같아 하나님께서 clarity를 주셨으면 한다고 했고 같이 기도했다. 그녀의 눈이 눈물이 가득했다.  서로 격려하며 기도할때 하나님의 일하심을 느낄수 있었다. “ , “Mikaela has developed many wart-like growths on her hands and has lost over 10 kilograms. Sadly, her condition hasn’t been properly treated because parts of the treatment are not covered by her insurance. We were heartbroken over this. The adults gathered to pray for her, and she also attended the Gospel Night again.”“Evion (in the yellow shirt) said she believes in God but feels like she’s lost her direction. She asked that God would bring her clarity, and we prayed together. Her eyes were full of tears. As we encouraged one another and prayed together, we could truly feel God at work.”C팀 새누리 아이들은 아이들 대로, 어른들은 어른들 대로 다양한 통로로 주님의 복음과 사랑을 그렇네 나누어지고 있습니다. The Sanuri youth and adults are each becoming vessels of the Gospel and God’s love, sharing it through various paths.페인트사역페인드 사역이 드디어 마무리 되는 날이였습니다. 주님의 예비하심으로 인해 더운 날씨로 더 어려울수 있던 사역이 저희의 예상보다 더 빨리 잘 마무리 되었습니다. 일을 하는 아이들의 얼굴에서는 무더운 날씨 속에서도 짜증보다는 기쁨과 웃음이 가득했습니다. 어른으로 어떻게 이걸 마무리할까를 플랜하고 걱정하는 제 모습속에서 주님에 온전히 의지하고 하나님께서 이끌어 주시고 마무리 해주시겠지를 온전히 의지하는게 저런 모습일까를 생각해보는 시간이였습니다. Painting Ministry Today marked the final day of our painting ministry. Thanks to the Lord’s provision, what could have been a difficult task in the scorching heat was completed more quickly and smoothly than we expected.Even in the intense heat, the faces of the children who were working were filled not with complaints, but with joy and laughter.As an adult, I found myself planning and worrying about how to finish the project, but watching the children, I was reminded of what it looks like to fully rely on the Lord—trusting that He would lead us and complete the work. 노방전도이번 노방전도는 복음의 씨앗을 뿌리는 것뿐만 아니라, 수요일에 진행되는 Family Night의 초대장도 함께 나누었습니다. 수요일에 더 많은 분들이 오셔서 주님의 구원에 축제에 동참하시기를 간절히 기도하며 나아갑니다. 이 더움에도 주님의 아름다움을 느낄수 있는 사진들도 함께 나눕니다. Street Evangelism This outreach was not only about planting seeds of the Gospel but also about handing out invitations for Family Night on Wednesday. We earnestly pray that more people will come and join the celebration of salvation. Day 3 -  2025 Mexico Mission Trip¡Hola! ¿Cómo estás! (Hello! How are you?)지글지글 우당탕탕 멕시칼리 미션의 새로운 셋째날이 마무리 되었습니다. Another sizzling and bustling day of the Mexicali mission has come to an end.오늘은 선교가 중반부로 달려가면서 수많은 은혜와 주님이 복음의 씨앗들이 심겨지니 사단의 공격도 더욱 거세진 하루였습니다. 이전 선교때 보다 더 빨리 아픈 아이들이 나오면서 얼마나 이번 선교가 임팩풀 하고 의미가 있는 선교일지 기대하는 마음이 있으면서도, 더욱 더 주님의 보호심과 인도하심을 붙잡을수 밖에 없는 하루였습니다. As we entered the midpoint of our mission, it became a day filled with both abundant grace and intensified spiritual attacks. As the seeds of the Gospel were being planted, Satan’s resistance also grew stronger. Compared to previous mission trips, we saw children falling ill earlier in the week, which made us realize how impactful and meaningful this mission truly is. At the same time, it was a day where we had no choice but to cling more tightly to the Lord’s protection and guidance.정말 평상시면 일어나지 않았어도 되는 일들, 문제가 아니였던 일들이 일어나고 몇번이나 확인했던 것들에서 실수가 생기고, 그걸 바라보는 우리의 마음에 두려움이 생기기 시작했던 것 같습니다. 특히나 아이들이 아프니, 아픈 아이들을 바라보며 해줄수 있는 것도 없은 오로지 기도로만 나가야 하는것이 맞는지 평상시면 하루이틀 정도 더 두고보고 견딜수 있던 상황들이 염려와 두려움이 더해져, 초조함을 만들어냈습니다. Things that normally wouldn’t have happened did, unexpected problems arose, and mistakes occurred in areas we had triple-checked. Fear began to creep into our hearts. Especially with children getting sick, situations that we might have waited a day or two to observe in normal times now felt urgent, and concern turned into anxiety and helplessness—prayer became our only option.그러나 함께 기도 하면서, 주님께서는 내가 하겠다는 마음을 주시고, 그 걱정의 마음 또한 바라보게 해주셨습니다.Day 3를 작성했어야하는 어제(7/1) 일 저녁에는 여러 아이들을 돌봐줘야하는 상황에서, 지금 (7/2일 오전) 에 바라보니, 그 순간조차 주님이 지키고 계시고, 멕시코 팀들을 하나로 모아 기도시키셨음이 이제야 보입니다. Yet, as we prayed together, the Lord reminded us, "I will do it." He allowed us to see our worrying hearts through His eyes. Although I intended to write the Day 3 report last night (7/1), I had to care for several children. Now, as I reflect this morning (7/2), I see that even then, the Lord was watching over us and gathering the Mexico team in unity through prayer.마운틴뷰에 계신 새누리 성도님들!! 더욱더 멕시코팀을 위해 기도해 주시길 간절히 부탁드립니다. 많은 육적인 공격들이 쏟아지고 있습니다. 최선을 다해, 주님이 주신 지혜로 그때에 맞는 치료와 돌봄 또한 기도와 함께 가고 있으니, 멕시코팀이 더욱더 주님께 의지하며 그렇게 나아갈수 있도록 기도 부탁드리겠습니다. To all the Sanuri Church members in Mountain View! Please pray that our team will continue to rely fully on the Lord and move forward in faith.어제 진행되었던 사역 함께 나눕니다. 어제의 사역들 또한 많은 주님의 복음의 씨앗들과 사랑을 나누는 시간들이였습니다. 특히나 NCBC 멕시코 선교팀 (우리 아이들) 의 성장뿐 아니라 작년에 보았던, 그 이전에 보았던 아이들이 훌쩍 커서 다시 만났을 때, 하나님의 생명을 자라게 하시는 그 섭리에 다시 감사와 찬양을 드릴수 있었습니다. Let us share what happened in yesterday’s ministry. It was another day of sowing seeds of the Gospel and spreading the love of Christ. Not only did we see the growth of the NCBC Mexico mission team (our youth), but we also reunited with children we had seen in previous years—now grown. We were moved once again to give thanks and praise to God, who nurtures life.Ministry Overview – Day 3사역으로 보면, 셋째날의 일정은 또한 어제와 같은 일정으로 3개의 교회에 3팀으로 나눠져 VBS를 진행, 세미너리 페인트사역, 노방전도 사역을 진행하였습니다. 프로그램은 같지만, 그 안에서 주시는 주님은 은혜와 도우심은 매번 새로웠습니다.  Ministry Overview – Day 3 The third day followed a similar schedule to the previous day: Teams were divided among 3 churches to lead VBS, carry out seminary painting work, and engage in street evangelism. Though the program was the same, the grace and help the Lord provided were new every time.VBS 사역 (백진영 자매님의 도움으로 생생한 각각의 스토리들을 올립니다.)VBS Ministry (Thanks to Sister Jin-Young Baek for helping share vivid stories from each team!)A팀 (team A)어제와 연장된 프로그램으로 더욱 더 깊은 교제를 나누며, 아이들뿐 아니라 어른분들께도 다시 한번 사복음을 전할수 있던 시간이였습니다. 그곳의 뜨거운 열기를 사진으로 감상해보시죠!Continuing from the previous day, we deepened our fellowship—not only with the children but also with the adults. It was a special time to once again share the fourfold Gospel. Enjoy the photos capturing the intense heat and warmth of the ministry!진영자매님 ft. “믿는 집이었지만 확신을 주기원해서 한 형제님이 복음을 다시 나누었고 Lucia는 다시 하나님을 주라 고백하며 현재 관계의 문제에 있어서 힘든것을 나누며 같이 눈물로 기도하였다. 하나님이 우리 각 사람, 특히 현지 부모님들을 많이 사랑하심을 느낄수 있었다. “ Jin-Young’s Note: "Although it was a Christian household, one brother wanted assurance and heard the Gospel again. Lucia confessed Jesus as her Lord and shared her struggles with her current relationship. We wept and prayed together. We could feel how deeply God loves each of us—especially the local parents."  B팀 B팀은 세미너리 근처 교회로 저자가 개인적으로 아는 얼굴들이 많이 보여 더 반가웠습니다. 작년에 만났던 친구들이 훌쩍커서 돌아와서 더 많이 기도하게 되는 순간이였습니다. Church B의 경우 VBS의 테마인 “Magnified”와 찰떡인 green green wall 로 주님께서 벽의 페인트까지 준비해 주신건가?! 라는 생각이 들었습니다. :) 순간들을 사진과 함께 나눕니다. Team BThis team served a church near the seminary. I personally recognized many familiar faces, which made it even more joyful. Seeing the children we met last year all grown up brought tears and prompted more prayers.At Church B, the VBS theme “Magnified” matched perfectly with the green-painted wall—it felt like even the wall had been prepared by the Lord! :) Let’s share those moments with pictures.  C팀C church 는 오후에 진행 되는 VBS로 한껏 더워진 교회안에서 그 뜨거운 열기와 함께 더 뜨거운 주님의 일하심을  경험하는 순간이였습니다. VBS at Church C took place in the afternoon, when the heat peaked. But even in the sweltering church building, we witnessed the Lord’s work burn even brighter.진영자매님 ft. 밖은 엄청 더운 날씨였는데 교회에 물먹으러 온 아저씨에게 한 형제님이 복음을 30분 넘게 스페니시로 더듬더듬 읽으며 전하였고 예수님을 영접하였다. 그는 전에 자살하려고 했었으며 그래서 이교회의 목사님이 rehab center를 찾고 있다고 하셨다. Jin-Young’s Note:“Despite the intense heat, a man came into the church for water. One of the brothers stumbled through the Gospel in Spanish for over 30 minutes, and the man accepted Jesus. We later learned that he had previously attempted suicide, and the church pastor had been looking for a rehab center for him.”진영자매님 ft. “에리카는 어제 동생을 위해서 기도했었는데 마약에 빠져있던 동생이 오늘 교회에 오게됬다. 다른 한형제님이 그녀에게 복음을 전했고 예수님을 받아들이게 됐다. 오랫동안 언니인 에리카가 기도를 해오지 않았나싶다. 나중에 애나에게 무엇이 기도제목이냐고 물었을때 그녀는 정말 마약을 끊고싶다고 했고 몇몇 어른들 멤버들은 같이 모여서 기도하기를 원했다. 언니가 다른방에서 기도하기를 원했고 우리는 세미나리 학생인 알렉시와 그외 4명의 어른들이 같이 가서 한국식 부르짖으며 하는 기도를 했다. "너는 내게 부르짖으라 내가 네게 응답하겠고 네가 알지못하는 크고 비밀한 일을 네게 보이리라" 그녀에게 마약 중독을 인정하고 그문제를 주님발앞에 가져와서 주님만이 해결해주신다는것을 믿어야 한다고 도전했다. 사탄이 유혹하고 마약을 하고싶다는 생각이 들때마다 주님께 그문제를 가져가야한다고 했다. 우리 부모님들은 애나와 애나언니 에리카를 붙들고 부르짖으며 기도했다. 현지 교회 젊은 마린 목사님도 오셔서 같이 기도하셨다. 그방은 war room같았다. 하나님의 일하심을 찬양합니다. 밖에선 유쓰들 중심으로 이루어진 VBS가 진행되었으며 뒤에선 기다리는 현지 부모님들을 통해 그들의 삶에 변화를 일으키기 원하시는 하나님의 일하심을 볼수 있었다.”Jin-Young’s Note:“Erika had prayed for her younger sister the day before—and today, her sister, who had been addicted to drugs, came to church. Another brother shared the Gospel with her, and she accepted Jesus. I imagine Erika had been praying for her for a long time. When we asked Anna (the sister) for her prayer request, she said she desperately wanted to quit drugs. Several adult members gathered to pray. Erika chose to pray in a separate room. With Alexi, a seminary student, and four other adults, we prayed Korean-style with loud cries. ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ We encouraged her to acknowledge her addiction and surrender it at Jesus' feet, believing only He could set her free. We told her to run to Jesus every time temptation or desire for drugs came. Our parents cried out in prayer for Anna and Erika, and even Pastor Marin, a young local pastor, joined us. That room felt like a war room. Even in the scorching heat, the Mexico mission team remained full of joy. There were so many kids wanting to help that it felt like we ran out of space. Their small hands and the Lord’s power made it evident that He was working far beyond our own abilities.To be continued in Part 2

짧은 그 1시간의 만남에서 길에서 우당탕탕 우리 새누리 선교팀은 그렇게 주님의 복음의 씨앗을 뿌리고 다녔습니다.  Evening Reflection짧은 노방전도의 여운을 뒤로 하고, 다시 세미너리로 돌아와 예배로 하루를 마무리 하고, 오늘의 감동과 주님의 일하심을 함께 나누며, 소그룹 나눔으로 오늘 하루를 더 깊게 나눠보는 시간을 가져보았습니다. 정말 마무리의 시간!! 내일을 준비하는 시간을 마지막으로,, Evening Reflection After evangelism, we returned to the seminary to close the day with worship. We shared moments of inspiration and God’s working throughout the day during small group reflections. Day 2 -  2025 Mexico Mission Trip¡Hola! ¿Cómo estás!지글지글 멕시칼리의 둘째날을 허락해주신 주님께 감사와  찬양을 올리며,  날씨만큼 뜨거웠던 멕시코 미션팁의 뜨거웠던 하루를 함께 해보시죠! Hello! How are you! (¡Hola! ¿Cómo estás!)We begin with thanksgiving and praise to the Lord who has granted us the second day in sizzling Mexicali. Let’s take a look back at this day of mission, burning with the same heat as the weather!오전 6시반, 길었던 어제를 뒤로 하고, 큐티로 하루의 시작을열었습니다.  오늘 우리에게 주시는 마음은 무엇인지 기도와 나눔으로 선교의 시작을 준비하며, 주님께서 일 하시는 오늘을 기대하며, 감사하게도 많은 분들의 기도로 조금은 나아지신 폴목사님과 함께 예배로 주님께 나아갔습니다. 이번 멕시코 선교는 3개의 팀으로 오전 오후 나눠진 프로그램으로, 분주하게 진행되어, 주님의 도움없이는 산으로 갈수 있는 상황들이였습니다. 특히나 우당탕탕 우리 아이들과 함께 집중하지 않으면 정말 넘어지기 쉬운 상황들이 머리로 그려지고 있는 상황이였습니다. 여러 교회에서 진행되는 VBS들과, 건물외부 청소와 페인팅와 함께, 그것을 위한 준비를 위해 어른들과 아이들이 각자 맡겨진 장소에서 각자의 역활을 해 내야만 가능한 프로그램 이였습니다. 부족해 보이는 어른들의 숫자와 또 우당탕탕 열정 넘치는 아이들을 바라보며, 약간은 걱정이 앞서는 스케쥴이였습니다. This Mexico mission trip was divided into three teams with morning and afternoon programs. Everything was run on a tight schedule, and without the Lord’s help, it could have easily gone off track. Especially when working with our lively and energetic children, it was clear that without focus and guidance, things could easily get overwhelming.Each team had specific duties—from leading VBS programs at various churches, to cleaning and painting the outside of buildings, to prepping for each activity. Both adults and kids had to fulfill their responsibilities at each assigned location for things to run smoothly.Looking at the small number of adult volunteers and our energetic kids, the schedule felt a bit overwhelming at first. VBS 사역 A팀 오전 8시 아침식사를 하자마자 A팀들이 45분 떨어진 교회로 VBS짐들을 가득 실고 떠났습니다. VBS 를 위한 데코레이션, 크레프트, 게임, 찬양등 여러 분야에서, 그러나 한 마음과 한 미션으로 그곳에 모여진 영혼들을 위한 예배와 서비스를 시작했습니다. Team ARight after an 8 AM breakfast, Team A packed the VBS materials and drove 45 minutes to a church. Each person contributed in various areas like decoration, crafts, games, and worship. Despite the different roles, they served with one heart and one mission—to worship and serve the souls gathered there.백진영자매님의 업데이트"오늘 처음 아침에 간 교회에서 부모들중에서 두자매인 아나와 미첸을 만났다. 이교회는 40분 정도 떨어진 교회인데 1년 정도 된 새로운 건물이었으며 나이든 분들과 은퇴한분들이 많이 온다고 했다. VBS를 support하다가 어른들 중에서 몇명이 vbs중 아이들을 기다리는 부모들 대상으로 복음을 전하기로 했다. 하지만, 스페인어를 잘하는 사람이 없었기에 우리는 멕시코 미션전에 준비했던 4영리를 사용하여 만든 교회 app과 구글트랜스레잇 등을 사용하여 부모들과 소통할수 있었다. 그중에서 만난 아나는 불안증세가 심했고 16세의 사촌이 파티중에 비극적인일로 죽었고 그형제가 또한 실종되는 여러일을 겪으며 이 두자매는 가정의 힘든일을 나누었다. 예수님을 믿지만 비극적인일들로 힘들었기에 다시 복음을 전하면서 확신을 다시 갖도록 했고 몇몇 어른들이 같이 기도했다. 아나는 우리가 한국말로 기도했지만 영으로 하는 기도때문인지 혹은 같은 마음때문인지 그녀의 눈에 눈물이 고였다." B팀 오전 9시에 세미너리 근처에 있는 교회에서 진행하기로 했던 VBS 가 교회 리모델링 공사로 인해 장소가 변경되었다는 이야기를 듣고 당황하는 상황에서 우리의 머리로 어디서 하면서 좋을지 생각할때, 주님은 이미 세미너리에 그 장소를 예비하고 계셨습니다. 갑자기 바뀐 상태에서 그 어느 누구도 불평불만 하지 않고 바로 그 상황에 순응하여 한 마음이 되어 준비하는 팀을 바라보며, 주님께서 이끌어 주고 계심을 느낄수 있었습니다. Team BTeam B was originally supposed to hold their VBS at a church near the seminary at 9 AM. However, due to unexpected remodeling, the location had to be changed. While we were still thinking with our own logic about where to go, the Lord had already prepared a space at the seminary. It was moving to see how not a single person complained about the sudden change; instead, everyone adjusted quickly and worked together with one heart. We could truly feel the Lord leading us. C팀 오전엔 세미너리 건물외부 페인트와 오후시간엔 10분 떨어진 교회에서 VBS를 진행했어야 하는 C팀은 오전중에는 어른들이 건물페인트 작업을 준비 할동안, B팀의 VBS 세팅들을 도우며, 오후시간에는 VBS를 진행하였습니다. Team C In the morning, Team C helped with outdoor painting at the seminary and supported Team B with VBS setup. In the afternoon, they headed to a church 10 minutes away to run another VBS. Although all three churches hosted different groups of children, the unity of God was evident in each one. We witnessed God working through each team member, reminding us again of the beauty of His body. 백자매님의 업데이트 "오후 4시에 열렸던 교회의 vbs는 작년에 갔었던 교회였어서 만났던 어른들과 성장한 아이들을 볼수 있었다. 에리카는 하나님을 믿지만 그마음에 근심이 많다고 해서 요 14:27의 평안에 관한 구절과 빌 4:6-8절의 염려에 관한 구절을 외우고 같이 기도하게됬다. 또한 그녀의 여동생 마리아가 마약에 빠져있는데 그것을 놓고 같이 기도하게 됐다. 멕시코는 매번 마약에 빠진 사람들이 많음을 보게된다총 3개의 교회에서 3 그룹으로 다 다른 아이들이 모이고 섬기지만, 그 안에 있는 하나님의 하나되게 하심이 각각의 VBS 가운데 함께하시며, 각 지체를 통해 일하시는 주님을 다시한번 경험하는 시간들이였습니다!! 페인트사역113도를 넘나 드는 날씨에도 돕고자 하는 그 작은 손길들이 모여, 하나하나 일들이 진행되어짐을 바라보며, 주님이 하십니다가 외쳐지는 사역이였습니다.더운 날씨에 지칠만도 할텐데 아이들의 눈은 더 반짝거렸고, 그들의 손을 통해 이뤄나가는 모습들을 보며, 주님의 스스로 영광받으심을 우리는 씨앗을 뿌리기만 하면 됨을 다시한번 느끼는 순간이였습니다. 다소 위험한 작업들은 어른 형제, 자매님들의 도움으로 먼저 세팅하며, 각각의 장소에서 할수 있는 일들을 해 나가며 모든 일들이 주님의 순리안에서 안전히 진행되었습니다.  Painting Ministry Despite temperatures over 113°F (45°C), small but willing hands came together to get the job done. Watching each task move forward, we couldn’t help but shout, "It is the Lord who is doing this work!" Even in the heat, the kids’ eyes sparkled with energy. Seeing their hands at work showed us that we are just sowers of seeds—God Himself brings the glory. The more dangerous tasks were handled first by adult brothers and sisters, and everyone worked together safely and orderly, in accordance with God’s plan.   노방전도, 7:30PM 멕시코 미션의 빠질수 없는 꽃 노방전도세미너리에서 준비해주신 맛있는 저녁식사를 마친 후 해가 지기전 서둘러 세미너리 근처 이웃들을 향한 아웃리치가 8개의 팀으로 나눠져 진행되었습니다. 준비한 스페니쉬 사영리가 나눠지고 어떤때는 그들을 향한 미소에서, 어떤때는 친절한 인사한 마디로, 다양한 방법으로 그렇게 작은 씨앗이 뿌려지고, 우리는 틔여주실 주님을 기대하며, 이웃을 향해 나아갔습니다. Street Evangelism – 7:30 PM One of the most beautiful and essential parts of our mission: street evangelism. After a delicious dinner provided by the seminary, eight teams quickly set out before the sun set, reaching out to neighbors nearby. Spanish-language “Four Spiritual Laws” tracts were handed out, and we shared seeds of the gospel in various ways—sometimes with a smile, sometimes with a kind greeting. We looked to the Lord with hope, believing He would cause these seeds to grow.In just one hour, our NCBC Mexico Mission Team moved through the streets, sowing the seeds of the Gospel with joy and determination. 

안녕하세요~ 이번 멕시코 선교보고를 맡은 이수연입니다. 다른 선교와는 조금은 다른~ 우리 아이들을 보내는 선교라 더욱 더 뜨거운 관심을 받는 선교이지 않을까 싶네요.  많은 분들이 기다리셨을것 같은데, 우여 곡절 끝에, 지금은 구글 닥에 먼저 선고보고를 쓰고 있습니다. 우당탕탕 43명의 아이들과 17명의 어른, 그리고 주님이 다 해결해주시는 멕시코 선교, 그 첫날을 함께 떠나보실까요! 2025/ 06/29 주일 오전 5시 교회, 웅성웅성 아이들과 부모님들, 목회자님들, 선교에 참여하는 어른이 교회로 모여 정성으로 준비한 여러 프로그램들의 준비물과 슬리핑백, 짐들을 차에 하나하나 실기 시작했습니다. 와글와글 아이들의 정성들인 준비과정이 그렇게 차속에 담겨졌습니다. 5시반부터 시작된  문정현목사님의 짧은 말씀과 손목사님의 축도와 함께, 그렇게 60명의 형제자매님들이 멕시코의 땅으로 파송되었습니다. Sunday, June 29, 2025 – 5:00 AM at ChurchThe church was buzzing early in the morning as children, parents, pastors, and adult volunteers gathered together. One by one, we began loading cars with carefully prepared program materials, sleeping bags, and luggage — every item filled with the love and prayers of our children. Their excitement was contagious, and the atmosphere was lively and joyful.At 5:30 AM, Pastor Moon shared a short message, followed by Pastor Sohn’s prayer of blessing.With that, all 60 members of our mission team were officially sent off to the land of Mexico. 아이들의 설렘과 기대가 새벽 6시에도 차에서 잠을 자지 않는 기적으로 나타나더라구요. 그 기적을 잠시 미뤄두며,  내일을 위한 체력비축을 위해 골아떨어지는 아이들을 바라보며, 그렇게 LA로 향했습니다. Even at 6 AM, the children were so full of anticipation and excitement that they didn't fall asleep in the car — a small miracle in itself!Eventually, they dozed off to rest and regain strength for the coming days, and our journey toward LA began.그렇게 7시간을 꼬박 운전하여, 드디어 갈보리 교회에 점심을 위해 멈췄습니다. 주일이라 교회자체도 성도님들로 바쁘실텐데, 매년 마다 저희를 반겨주시는 갈보리교회의 목사님과 성도님들께 감사하여, 또 이 많은 인원의 식사를 준비한 인앤아웃과 쉬지 않고 달려 먼저 도착해서 주문에서 배달까지 해주신 형제님들께도 감사를 전합니다. After seven hours on the road, we finally arrived at Calvary Church, where we stopped for lunch.It was a busy Sunday for them, yet as they do every year, the pastor and congregation warmly welcomed us with open arms.We are truly grateful to them and also to In-N-Out, which provided meals for our large group, as well as the brothers who went ahead of us to place the order and coordinate delivery without pause.맛있는 점심을 먹고 다시 기운이 난 우리 아이들은 차안에서 성경구절을 외우고, 가는 길목에서 만난 산불을 보며, 주변의 피해를 위해 기도하며, 그렇게 멕시칼리로 향하는 시간들을 준비해 가고 있었습니다. 점점 더 멕시칼리와 가까워 지며, 3자리의 온도(113도)에,, 다시 한번 마음의 준비를 하며, 그렇게 멕시칼리로 달려나갔습니다. Recharged by a delicious lunch, our kids began memorizing Bible verses in the van and even prayed together as we passed a wildfire on the way, lifting up those affected. As we neared Mexicali and the temperature hit a scorching 113°F (45°C), we braced ourselves — mentally and physically — for what lay ahead. 점점 더 외부 풍경이 우리가 알던 풍경과 달라지며, 그렇게 보더 근처에 도착했습니다.그곳에서 우리를 위해 마중나오신 세미나리 목사님을 만날수 있었습니다. 그곳에서 멕시코 국경을 건널 준비와 이야기를 나눈후, 드디어 멕시코 국경으로 향하였습니다. The landscape began to change, no longer looking like the scenery we were used to, and we finally reached the border area. There, we were greeted by a seminary pastor who had come to meet us. After talking through the border crossing process, we moved toward the Mexico border, thinking it would be a smooth entry.잠시 쉬는 시간을 이용한 성경구절 암송과 그 잠시의 틈에도 주님을 전도 하고 그 사람들을 위해 기도하는 아이들을 보며 온전한 순종이 무엇인지, 삶으로 살아간다는게 어떤건지 다시 한번 생각해보는 시간이였습니다.Watching the children use even short breaks to memorize Bible verses, share the gospel, and pray for those they encountered reminded me once again what true obedience looks like — and what it really means to live out our faith through our daily lives.  저녁식사를 향한 성경구정 암송과 그 작은 틈을 사용해서 기도를 해주는 아이들을 바라보며, 주님 말씀을 온전히 순종하는 아이들의 모습에 다시 한번 우리 자신을 돌아보는 시간이였습니다.  멕시코 국경에서는 그냥 들어가는 가 싶었는데, 멕시코 국경경찰은 모든 차들을 한곳에 모으고, 사람이 많다 물건이 많다, 물건을 팔려고 하는건 아니냐 라는 등, fine이 500불이다 라는 많은 말들을 했고, 저희는 즉시 폴목사님의 말씀에 따라 아이들과 함께 기도하기 시작했고, 기도가 끝나자마자, 그 어떤 범칙금도, 딴지도 없이, 그냥 저희를 보내주는 주님이 일하시는 기적을 또 맛보았습니다. 그렇게 주님이 직접 일하심을 시작으로 멕시코의 여정이 시작되었습니다.However, once there, the Mexican border police gathered all our vehicles together. They questioned the size of our group, asked if we were planning to sell items, and even mentioned a potential $500 fine. In that moment, following Pastor Paul’s guidance, we immediately gathered the children and began to pray. Amazingly, right after the prayer, the officers let us through without any fines or penalties — a clear sign of God's divine intervention.7시에 아무 탈없이 세미너리에 도착한 60명의 멕시코 팀은 성경구절 암송 후 모두 맛있는 저녁을 먹을수 있었습니다. 또 이곳에서 반가운 얼굴들!! 새누리의 아버지 학교 형제님들이 이곳을 방문중이셔서 인사를 나누며, 주님은 하나의 마음을 만들어 주시는 것을 다시 한번 느낄수 있었습니다. At 7:00 PM, our 60-member team safely arrived at the seminary in Mexicali. We closed the evening with Bible verse memorization and a hearty dinner. To our surprise and joy, we also ran into familiar faces — brothers from the SaeNuri Church Father School were visiting at the same time! It was a beautiful reminder that the Lord brings unity wherever His people gather. 한숨을 돌릴틈도 없이, 계속 감기로 힘들어 하시던 폴목사님의 컨디션이 저녁이 되자 더 안 좋아지셨고, 폭목사님의 인도 없이, 급하게 어른형제자매님들과 유스 리더들만으로 소그룹 나눔과 내일을 준비해야 하는 상황이 생겼습니다.  But the day wasn’t without challenges.Pastor Paul, who had been struggling with a cold, began to feel even worse in the evening.Without his leadership, the adult team members and youth leaders had to quickly step in to lead small groups and prepare for the next day. 그러나 부족한 그 어떤 상황에서도 영광받으시고 이미 준비하시는 주님으로 말미암아, 우당탕탕속에서도 주님의 준비하심과 예비하심을 느끼는 시간이였습니다. 또한 더 하나된 마음으로 폴목사님을 향해 기도하며, 내일을 준비하시는 주님께 철저히 매달리게 하셨습니다.Still, even in our lack, the Lord was glorified.We could sense how He had already gone before us to prepare everything.This moment of chaos became a powerful reminder that in our weakness, His strength is made perfect.We found ourselves united in prayer for Pastor Paul and fully dependent on the Lord for the day ahead.내일 하루를 또 이끄실 주님을 더욱 더 의지하며, 기도하며 그렇게 오늘 하루를 마무리합니다. 데이터 로딩이 너무 느려 사진이 올라가고 있지 않아, 오늘은 아마 사진은 못 올리고 (1am 넘어가네요오,,) 낼 선교를 위해,,  글만 먼저 올리고 내일 사진 마저 올려보도록 하겠습니다! As I write this at 12:30 AM, the data is loading too slowly to upload photos tonight — so I’ll be sharing just the written report for now and will upload pictures tomorrow after our next day of mission work.많은 어려움과 여러 장애물들이 있지만, 이 모든것을 선으로 이끄실 주님을 믿습니다! 내일을 이루실 주님을 찬양합니다. 내일 뵈어요!There have been many obstacles and unexpected moments, but we trust in the Lord who turns all things for good. 샬롬, 그리스도의 평강을 전합니다.오늘은 브라질 땅에서의 마지막 날이자 그리웠던 고국으로 돌아가는 날입니다하나님께서 지으신 브라질 땅, 특히 아마존 지역과 마나우스 지역을 둘러보며 기도하는 시간을 가졌습니다.Shalom, I bring you the peace of Christ.Today marks our last day in Brazil and the day we return to our beloved homeland.We had a time of prayer as we traveled through the land God has created—especially the Amazon region and the city of Manaus.땅밟기를 하며, 하나님의 창조하신 아름다움을 보고브라질 민족을 향한 궁휼한 마음으로 이 땅을 두루 다니며 기도할수 있기를 바라는 마음으로 출발하였습니다.As we did a prayer walk, we marveled at the beauty of God's creation. We set out with a heart full of compassion for the people of Brazil, hoping to journey through this land in prayer and intercession.먼저 브라질 전통 마을을 찾아간 브라질 선교팀브라질 아마존의 전통과 문화를 지키며 살아가는 "두유꽈" 라는 부족 이였습니다.First, our Brazil mission team visited a traditional village. It was home to the "Duyukwa" tribe, a people who preserve the traditions and culture of the Brazilian Amazon.오후에는 브라질 전통 시장을 방문하였습니다.이곳에서도 최강 브라질 팀에 선교가 이어지는데요.In the afternoon, we visited a traditional Brazilian market. Even there, the Brazil mission team continued street evangelism.먼저는 스킷 팀 부터 나와 아무도 주목하지 않는 광장 앞에서 연극을 시작하였습니다.First, the skit team stepped forward and began their performance in front of a plaza where no one was paying attention.스피커 소리와 광장에서 무언갈 하고 있구나 라는 모습에 주변 사람들이 하나 둘 모이기 시작했습니다.As the sound from the speakers filled the air and people noticed something happening in the plaza, they began to gather one by one.기세를 몰아, 준비했던 바디 워십도 선보였습니다.Riding the momentum, we also presented the body worship we had prepared.스킷과 바디워십을 모여드린후, 황 목사님이 나오셔서 복음을 전파 하셨습니다."여러분 저희는 여러분과 함께 천국에 가고 싶습니다!!!"After the skit and body worship drew the crowd in, Pastor Hwang stepped forward and shared the gospel.“We want to go to heaven with you!”저희 촤강 브리질 팀은 전원 포르투갈어를 할줄 모릅니다, 복음팔찌도 그동안에 노방전도로 전부 소진해 버리고 정말 조금밖에 없느 상황에서, 그들에게 찾아가 하나님께서 주시는 담대한 마음과 번역기, 본인이 차고있던 복음팔찌들을 넘겨주며 그들이 정말 다시 하나님께 돌아올수 있도록 전심을 다하여그리스도의 사랑을 전하고, 서로 기도해 주었습니다.Our Brazil team does not speak Portuguese at all. Having used up all our gospel bracelet through street evangelism, we had very few left.Approaching them, we gave them the boldness that God provided, used a translator app, and handed over the gospel bracelets we were wearing, doing our best to share Christ’s love so they could truly return to God. May the peace of Christ be with you.Today marks the final day of our mission in Brazil’s Amazon—and it is also the day we serve in one of the riverbank villages, a community living in poverty along the Amazon River.Our schedule followed the same pattern as in other areas of Manaus: VBS (Vacation Bible School) and medical outreach.Not knowing how many children or patients would gather, we set out early in the morning, braving the intense heat nearing 90°F (32°C).With hearts full of expectancy, we headed toward the Amazon riverside village, trusting that God loves this land and is already at work there.그렇게 40여분을 달려 첫 날 아마존에서 배를 타고 들어갔었던, 항구 Porto Da Ceasa에 도착을 하엿습니다.After about 40 minutes of driving, we arrived at Porto da Ceasa, the same port where we had first boarded the boat on our very first day in the Amazon.Returning to this familiar place brought back memories of that initial excitement and nervous anticipation—only this time, we came with hearts full of testimonies and gratitude for all that God has already done.하나 둘 버스에 실었던 짐들을 하나하나 꺼내어 배에 실어야 했습니다.그러나 늘 탔던 그 큰 배가 아니라, 관광용 모터 보트였습니다... 40여분을 달려 드디어 마을이 모이기 시작했습니다.bout 40 more minutes on the road, we finally began to see signs of the village coming into view.There was a quiet sense of anticipation in the air—hearts prepared, hands ready, and prayers lifted for the people we were about to meet.막상 도착을 하니 상황이 더욱 열악했습니.들어가는 입구에서 부터 험란함이 찾아왔는데요, 배에서 내려 본당에 까지 가기가 푹푹 발이 빠지는 것 이, 단순이 늪에 개념에서 벗어나, 닭과 버팔로 개 등 가축들의 베설물과 재래식 화장실에서 나오는 인분들 등 모두가 땅으로 내려가 아마존 강물가 섞여 이상한 냄새도 나고 씻기을 수도 없이 불편하지만, 그리스도의 사랑을 전하기 위해 계속해서 불편한 상황에도 나아가자 라고 고백했던 것들로 버티고 또 하나님의 사랑이 오늘 우리로 인해 강변에 잘 뿌리 내려 질수록 기도하며 하나 둘 짐을 옮겼습니다Upon arrival, it became immediately clear just how serious the situation was.From the very entrance into the village, we faced challenges. As we disembarked from the boat and began walking toward the main church building, our feet sank deeply into the soft, muddy ground.It wasn’t just a typical marshland—what we encountered was a mix of animal waste from chickens, buffaloes, and dogs, along with human waste from rudimentary, traditional latrines. The smell was overwhelming, and basic hygiene was difficult to maintain.Yet in the midst of it all, we remembered our confession: to make the name of the Lord holy.With that heart, we pressed on—praying that the work we had committed to, and the name of the Lord we proclaimed, would take deep root in this riverside village. After that, each team member dispersed to their respective areas to begin the day’s ministry.계속 사역을 하며 아픈 팀원들이 계속해서 속출하였습니다.간단한 치료후 기도로서 서로를 중보해 주며 사역을 시작 하였습니다.Even up to today, some of our team members were feeling unwell.After receiving basic treatment, we began the day by interceding for one another in prayer.VBS를 진행하게될 빨간 건물, 배가 정박해 있는 물가와 가까이 있어 쉽게 이동할수 있을수 있지만, 다치거나 지병이 있는 사람들이 오래 걷지 못하여 그들을 위하여 기도하는 마음으로 이동하였고The red building where the VBS would take place was conveniently located near the waterfront where our boat was docked. Were you looking forward to Part 2?Let’s jump into Part 2 of Day 6 of the Brazil or NowhereHere we go!계속 선교일지를 봐 오신분들은 느끼셨겠지만. 이곳 마나우스/아마존은 적도 바로 밑에 위치한 도시라 모든 예배들이 저녁에 드려집니다.현지 시각 7시 주일 예배를 드리기 위하여 성도님들이 하나 둘 씩 모여들고 있었습니다.If you’ve been following along with our mission journal, you may have noticed— here in Manaus/Amazon, a city located just below the equator, all worship services are typically held in the evening due to the intense daytime heat.By 7:00 PM local time, members of the congregation began arriving one by one, gathering together to worship for the Sunday evening service.감사하게 올해에도 현지 찬양팀과, 영어/포어로 찬양인도를 같이 할수 있어하나님께 너무나 큰 감사를 드렸습니다. 이곳에서는 주일 찬양팀 전용 바디워십팀이 있어 찬양에 첫 순서 부터 끝 까지 바디워십고 같이 드려지는 진 풍경을 볼수 있었습니다.We are truly grateful that once again this year, we were able to lead worship together with the local praise team in both English and Portuguese. We give God immense thanks for this opportunity.Here, the Sunday praise team is accompanied by a dedicated body worship team, so from the very first song to the last, worship is expressed not only through music but also through body movement—a beautiful and authentic scene to witness.찬양의 순서가 끝난 후 아이들을 축복하는 시간을 잠깐 가졌습니다.이땅에 미래, 우리의 다음세대들을 위한 기도, 그 아이들의 믿음의 성장을 위하여 그 아이들의 삶의 여정을 축복하는 기도를 드렸습니다.After the time of praise, we took a moment to bless the children.We lifted up prayers for the future of this land—our next generation—asking for their growth in faith and for God’s blessings over every step of their life’s journey.축복의 기도가 끝난 후, 선교팀이 준비 한 바디워십을 선보였습니다.After the blessing prayer, the mission team presented a body worship performance that we had prepared.It was our way of offering praise through movement and expressing our love and gratitude to God alongside the congregation.그런대 그때 현지에서도 준비한것이 있다며,저희에게 그들이 준비한 바디워십도 보여 줬습니다.But then — to our surprise — the local congregation shared that they had also prepared something for us.They performed a body worship dance they had been practicing, and joyfully presented it to us as a gift of worship and fellowship.그들이 봐 왔던 저희의 바디워십이 이랬을까요?그냥 너무 멋지고 대단하다는 말 밖게 나오지 않았던 그러한 예배였습니다.특히 저 브라질 국기와 태극기가 반반 붙여 만드 깃말에서 아 이 민족은 참 사랑과 열정이 많은 민족이구나라는것을 다시금 느낄수 있게 되었습니다Is this how they had seen our body worship all along? All we could say was how amazing and moving their worship was. Truly inspiring.One moment that especially touched our hearts was when they held up a sign made from the Brazilian and Korean flags joined together. In that simple gesture, we deeply felt their love, passion, and the beautiful unity between our two nations in Christ.그렇게 기쁘고 시원한 예배의 시작이였습니다.이제 하나님의 말씀으로 오늘 주일예배를 시작하였습니다.And just like that, the service began on a joyful and uplifting note.We then entered into the heart of the Sunday worship — receiving and reflecting on God’s Word together.그렇게 설교 하던중 문뜩 나온 황 목사님의 질문"미국으로 여행을 놀러가는것이 축복입니다? 아니면 아마존으로 들어가 그리스드의 복음을 전하는 삶이 축복입니까?"하는 질문에 브라질 현지 사람들은 아마존으로 들어가겠노라 라고 자발적으로 선을 들었습니다.내년에는 저희 팀과 같이 아마존 강으로 들어가 같이 선교하기를 소망합니다 ㅋㅋIn the middle of the sermon, Pastor Hwang posed a striking question:“Is it a blessing to go on a vacation to the United States? Or is it a blessing to go into the Amazon to share the Gospel of Christ?”To our amazement, many of the Brazilian locals enthusiastically raised their hands, declaring they would choose to go into the Amazon to spread the Gospel.We truly hope that next year, some of them will join our team as we return to the Amazon for mission work — together!그렇게 설교를 마무리 하시며,먼저 서로 서로를 위하여 기도하는 시간을 가졌습니다.베이지역에서 온 저희와, 이곳 마나우스 현지 교인들이 서로 짝을 지어, 그들의 기도 제목은 알수 없으나마음으로 그들을 위하여 전심을 다하는 기도를 드리기로 하였습니다.As Pastor Hwang concluded the sermon, we moved into a precious time of intercessory prayer for one another.Those of us who came from the Bay Area and the local church members in Manaus paired up even though we didn’t always know each other's specific prayer requests, we prayed wholeheartedly, lifting each other up before God in unity and love.두번째로 이 교회에서 헌신하고 계시는 선교사님과 목사님 가정을 앞으로 모셨습니다.그들을 향하여 현지 교인들이 가장 가까운곳으로가 그들의 가정을 축복하는 귀중한 시간도 가졌습니다.ChatGPT said:Next, we invited the missionaries and pastoral family serving faithfully at this church to come forward. May the peace of Christ be with you.Did the title catch you off guard?  Today has been filled with so many meaningful events that we’ve decided to share Day 6 of our mission journey in two parts.With the continued support and encouragement from our senior pastor and the Saenuri family, we feel a holy sense of responsibility to do our very best in capturing and sharing the powerful work that God is doing here — as vividly and faithfully as possible.So without further ado... Let’s begin Day 6 of the Strongest Amazon Mission!오늘은 아침부터 이곳 마나우스 땅에 비가 내렸습니다.아마존 강변 마을과는 달리 실내 사역을 주로 하다 보니 큰 영향을 없을까? 생각했지만 오후에 노방전도가 있을 텐데 걱정하는 마음을 한편에 두고 아침 예배로 마음을 다잡는 시간을 가졌습니다.\\애배소서 4장 1-16절 말씀을 큐티로 묵상하며 공통 된 나눔이 16절로"그에게서 온 몸이 각 마디를 통하여 도움을 받음으로 연결되고 결합되어 각 지체의 분량대로 역사하여 그 몸을 자라게 하며 사랑 안에서 스스로 세우느니라"선교팀 각자가 맡은 사역지가 다 다르지만, 우리들이 이곳 브라질에서 결국 그리스도의 사랑을 이루워 내기 위하여 서로에게서 도움을 받음으로 연결이 되어야 한다는 마음은모든 팀원들에게 공통으로 주신것 같았습니다. 서로를 사랑으로 용납하며 서로를 돌보며 그 마음을 잘 지키길 기도하는 마음으로 VBS, 의료사역을 시작했습니다.During our quiet time, we reflected on Ephesians 4:1–16, with a shared focus landing on verse 16: "From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." Though each member of the mission team is serving in a different area, we were reminded that in order to truly embody Christ’s love here in Brazil, we must be connected — helping and supporting one another.It felt as though God placed this same conviction in all our hearts: that we are called to be united through love, embracing one another, caring for each other, and working together to fulfill His purpose.With that prayerful mindset, we began our VBS and medical ministry for the day. 비가 추적추적 내리는 날인데도 아이들은 비를 피해 교회 구석구석에서 기다리고 있다가 교회 문이 열리기가 무섭게 너무나도 해맑게 들어왔습니다.Even though a rain was falling, the children waited patiently — tucked into corners of the church to stay dry.And the moment the doors opened, they rushed in with the brightest, most joyful smiles, as if the rain hadn’t touched them at all.아이들을 즐겁게 맞이하고 있을 시간, 아래층 의료사역 팀에서도분주하게 사역을 준비하고 계셨습니다. 약이 모자라 현지에서 충당한 약을 다시 채워놓기도 해야했고, 또 채워야 할 부분들과 조금 더 효과적으로 사역을 알수 있게끔 재정비도 필요했지만무엇보다 팀원들 한사람 사람을 위한 기도가 무엇보다 중요했습니다. While we were joyfully welcoming the children upstairs,downstairs, the medical ministry team was also busy preparing for the day’s work.They needed to restock some medications that had run out, sourcing more locally.
