보릿고개를 겪고 있는 시기에 말라위에 너무나 필요한 비가 아침부터 내리는 날입니다. VBS가 끝난 후로 부터 매일 이 땅에 비를 내려주시는 하나님께 감사드립니다.

선교팀원 모두 밝은 모습으로 아침예배를 드리고 계속해서 룻기를 묵상합니다.

This morning, this region, which is currently experiencing a drought, received much-needed rain. We are grateful to God for blessing us with rain to this land every day since the conclusion of VBS.

We worship with enthusiasm and continue to meditate on the book of Ruth.

오늘의 사역은 페인팅을 마무리 하는 것입니다. 

먼저 예배당 안쪽부터 시작 합니다. 프라이머 페인팅을 마친 벽에 본 페인트를 칠합니다.

Today’s main focus is to wrap up the painting efforts.

We start with painting the interior walls of the chapel. We apply paint after applying 2 coats of primer.

짜잔! 하얗게 벽칠이 완성 되었습니다! 벽의 색처럼 우리의 마음도 새 영으로 깨끗해 지는것 같습니다.

Tada! Wall painting complete! Just like the white color of the walls, our hearts seem to be cleansed with a new spirit.

너무나도 신기하게도 계속해서 비가 오다가도 저희가 야외에서 페인팅을 할 때는 비를 멈춰주시고 바람을 보내주시는 하나님을 경험합니다. 하나님 감사합니다.

Even as the rain comes and goes throughout the day, amazingly, it does not fall while we are painting. We thank God for His gracious hand in stopping the rain and sending a cool breeze our way.

하나님이 우리의 주인되심이 말라위 땅에 선포되고 있습니다! 이 길을 다니는 모든 사람들에게 복음이 흘러 들어갈 것을 소망합니다.

That God is our master is being declared in Malawi! We hope that the Gospel will flow into everyone who walks this path.

그동안 수고해주신 선교사님들께 조그마한 감사의 뜻을 전해드렸습니다.

We would like to express our gratitude to the missionaries by sharing with them a small gift for all their hard work thus far.

우리를 한팀으로 모아주신 하나님께 감사합니다. 새누리의 Premier team이었고, 하나님이 주신 은사를 사용할 줄 알고 받은 사랑을 아낌없이 흘려보내는 형제 자매님들이었습니다. 지난 7일동안 마음을 다해 말라위 사람들을 섬기며 이 땅의 구원을 위해 진심으로 기도할 수 있는 마음을 부어주셔서 감사합니다. 이번 선교를 통해 받은 마음들을 잊지 않고 계속해서 말라위 사람들의 한 영혼 한 영혼을 위해 기도할 수 있기를 소망합니다.

내일은 패킹을 하고 미국으로 돌아갈 준비를 합니다. 비행기들이 연착되지 않고 팀원들 모두 긴 비행으로부터 지치지 않을 수 있도록 기도해주세요.

Jesus is Lord!

We give thanks to God for bringing us together as a team. We were NCBC’s premier team, consisting of gifted brothers and sisters who knew how to use their gifts for God and generously poured out the love they received. Thank you, Lord, for giving us the heart to serve these Malawians whole-heartedly and pouring into us the desire to pray for the salvation of these people. We hope that we will not forget the hearts we received through this mission and that we will continue to pray for each and every soul of the people of Malawi.

Tomorrow, we will pack and prepare to return to the States. Please pray that the flights are not delayed and that all the team members do not grow weary from the long flight.

Jesus is Lord!
